- Amazon's Corporate Development team is looking for an Executive Assistant to
- join us and partner with a Vice President while collaborating with team members
- across the organization. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role where you
- will anticipate needs, manage competing priorities, and keep the team running
- smoothly. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential
- information as well as professionalism in dealing with senior executives inside
- and outside of the company is critical.
- The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks
- quickly with little to no guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations
- that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action with sound judgement
- even in instances of ambiguity. This person must be able to work successfully in
- a team environment and build effective working relationships.
Key job responsibilities
- Manage a complex and dynamic calendar for a Vice President
- Process expense reports
- Coordinate global schedules, travel arrangements, and seamless meeting
- logistics such as video conferencing and conference calls for internal and
- external meetings.
- Organize, prioritize and appropriately handle time-sensitive, confidential
information and ensure the action required is addressed in a timely manner.
- Plan and execute team events, on-sites/offsites, and morale activities -
- managing logistics end to end including space allocation, catering, and vendor
- coordination.
- Catering and supply orders
- Collaborate with a team of Executive Assistants - sharing best practices to
help improve cross-team processes and day-to-day efficiency.
About the team
- Amazon's Corporate Development team is responsible for mergers, acquisitions,
- and investments across all of Amazon's businesses. We partner with business
- units, senior leadership, and external companies to uncover new opportunities
- and potential partnerships. Notable acquisitions include MGM Studios, Whole
- Foods, One Medical, Ring, and Audible. Basic Qualifications: - 5+ years of
executive assistant experience
- Experience with executive level calendar management
- Experience with domestic or international travel coordination
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- Bachelor's degree Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in a fast-paced,
high-tech company
- Experience with work space planning/management
- Experience handling administrative details independently, while exercising
good judgment in keeping team members adequately informed
- Impeccable attention to detail. Ability to build a strong internal network and
- communicate effectively with a variety of groups such as senior management,
- peers and outside companies.

- The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package
- will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
- compensation will be determined based on factors including experience,
- qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits
