San Miguel Power Association (SMPA) is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Executive Assistant to join our team.
In this role, you will provide administrative support to the General Manager/CEO and Board of Directors. You will coordinate schedules, meetings, travel, Board materials, records, and other administrative activities while maintaining confidentiality, accuracy, and professionalism.
What You'll Do
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements.
- Prepare and distribute Board agendas, packets, meeting materials, and minutes.
- Maintain corporate records, contracts, and electronic filing systems.
- Coordinate administrative details for meetings, events, trainings, and the Annual Meeting.
Provide administrative support for internal communications, HR activities, donations, and elections.
- Serve as an administrative point of contact and route communications appropriately.
- Maintain records in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Provide general administrative and secretarial support to the General Manager/CEO and Board of Directors.
Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
5 or more years of administrative or related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe, and other business software.
- Experience with records management, filing systems, or meeting support.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively with minimal supervision.
Experience with meeting minutes, benefits administration, event planning, or an electric cooperative is preferred.

This is an exempt position with the opportunity to telecommute, as approved and scheduled with your supervisor, following successful completion of the probationary period and in accordance with SMPA policy. Occasional travel is required.
