Reporting to the HR Branch Director, this position supports employees and leadership across our Miami Dade and Broward association operations and serves as a trusted HR resource to branch and department leaders.

- Associa- Marquis Association Management is seeking a strategic, collaborative,
- and hands-on Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our HR team.
- Reporting to the HR Branch Director, this position supports employees and
- leadership across our Miami Dade and Broward association operations and serves
- as a trusted HR resource to branch and department leaders.
- The HR Business Partner combines strategic HR partnership with hands-on HR
- Generalist responsibilities. This role works closely with leadership to align
- people strategies with business objectives while providing guidance and support
- in employee relations, performance management, talent development, workforce
- planning, organizational development, compliance, onboarding, benefits, HR
- operations, and employee engagement.
- The ideal candidate is a strong relationship builder who can move comfortably
- between advising leaders on employee matters and managing the day-to-day HR
- responsibilities that keep the organization running effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as an HR Business Partner to branch, department, and corporate
leadership.
- Assist the HR Branch Director in aligning HR strategies with operational and
organizational objectives.
- Partner with leaders to identify workforce needs, improve employee
engagement, support retention, and enhance organizational effectiveness.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and practical HR solutions to managers and
employees.
- Support workforce planning, talent development, succession planning, and
organizational change initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, efficiency, and the overall
employee experience.
Employee Relations & Performance Management
- Provide guidance to leaders on employee relations matters and escalate
complex or sensitive issues to the HR Branch Director as appropriate.
- Partner with managers on performance management, coaching, corrective action,
documentation, and terminations.
- Support conflict resolution and promote fair, consistent, and professional
decision-making.
- Assist with employee relations investigations and ensure appropriate
documentation is maintained.
- Coach managers on effective feedback, employee development, and performance
expectations.
- Support performance management programs, talent reviews, and succession
planning initiatives.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure HR policies, procedures, and programs are consistently administered
and aligned with company standards and applicable employment requirements.
- Process, verify, and maintain I-9 documentation and ensure E-Verify
compliance.
- Monitor E-Verify activity and complete required actions timely.
- Create and manage new hire credentials, Marquis email accounts, ADP
registration, and other onboarding requirements.
- Verify new hires are active and properly assigned in ADP and assist with ADP
reassignments following hires, transfers, and terminations.
- Complete and process Personnel Action Forms (PAFs), referral bonus
documentation, and other HR transactions.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
- Serve as a liaison between employees, managers, and ADP Support to
troubleshoot and resolve HRIS issues.
Recruitment, Onboarding & Workforce Support
- Partner with the recruitment team to support candidate communication, hiring
events, and onboarding activities.
- Plan and coordinate monthly new hire orientations.
- Support effective onboarding and employee integration.
- Assist with new property onboarding and organizational transitions.
- Support recruitment, retention, and workforce planning initiatives.
Benefits, Leave & Employee Support
- Serve as a resource for employees and managers regarding company policies,
- procedures, benefits, time-off categories, holiday schedules, payroll, and
- other HR matters.
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment and benefit-related questions.
- Support FMLA, leaves of absence, and other applicable leave programs.
- Assist employees and managers with leave-related documentation and questions.
- Partner with appropriate HR and benefits resources to ensure matters are
handled accurately and confidentially.
Payroll & HRIS
- Assist with payroll processing, including manual entries, employee changes,
corrections, and payroll inquiries.
- Prepare weekly new hire reporting for payroll purposes.
- Review employee information and transactions in ADP for accuracy.
- Assist with HRIS troubleshooting, employee record updates, and system
improvements.
- Utilize ADP, OPR, and other HR tools to improve efficiency and support
accurate HR administration.
Organizational Development & Change Management
- Support organizational development initiatives focused on team effectiveness,
leadership development, employee engagement, and workplace culture.
- Assist with change management initiatives and organizational transitions by
identifying workforce impacts and supporting effective implementation.
- Partner with leaders to promote a positive, professional, and collaborative
workplace culture.
- Support company initiatives and employee engagement activities, including
quarterly company events in collaboration with the Office Manager.
HR Data & Analytics
- Analyze HR metrics and workforce data to identify trends, risks, and
opportunities.
- Prepare HR reports and use data to support recommendations and business
decisions.
- Provide HR insights to the HR Branch Director and leadership to support
workforce planning and organizational priorities.
Qualifications
- Bilingual- English and Spanish
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial
Relations, Organizational Development, or a related field preferred.
- 3–5 years of progressive HR experience in an HR Generalist, HR Business
Partner, or similar role.
- Experience with employee relations, performance management, talent
management, HR operations, and compliance.
- Experience analyzing HR metrics and using data to identify trends and support
recommendations.
- Experience with HRIS platforms; ADP experience strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of I-9 and E-Verify processes preferred.
- Strong consulting, relationship-building, communication, and facilitation
skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with sound judgment.
- Ability to build credibility and partner effectively with managers,
employees, and leadership.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and
deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling
sensitive employee matters.
