Who You Are
The Field Implementation Manager owns the execution of Chester's field-facing operations programs — new store onboarding, new store training scheduling, and tradeshow planning and logistics. The person in this role works closely with, and is supported by, the Director of Operations Services, and has a clear path to grow into a people-manager role overseeing our team of five Regional Trainers.
What You'll Do
New Store Onboarding
Own the end-to-end onboarding timeline for each new store, from signed agreement through opening day, coordinating directly with Territory Performance Managers and new operators.
Run onboarding calls with operators, driving deliverables forward rather than simply tracking them, and resolving blockers directly where possible.
Maintain and continuously improve the onboarding tracker and readiness reporting, flagging risks and delays to leadership with recommended solutions.
Ensure every new store has full access and onboarding to the Franchise Resource Center, tools, and systems and platforms, and that all required documentation is complete before opening.
Serve as the primary escalation point for onboarding issues raised by TPMs, warehouse, or operators.
New Store Training Schedule
Manage the master new store training schedule, coordinating trainer availability, store readiness, and opening dates.
Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, gaps in coverage, or last-minute changes to opening timelines.
Support maintenance of materials, job aids, and videos based on field feedback and evolving store needs.
Tradeshow Planning & Logistics
Own the tradeshow process; register for each show and manage all associated deadlines and vendor and show requirements.
Run tradeshow critical path calls to ensure team alignment on scheduling and booking travel.
Create equipment and packing lists for each show, ensuring booth materials, signage, and product needs are accounted for.
Organize and manage outsourced warehouse labor supporting tradeshow prep and load-out.
Maintain warehouse safety requirements and compliance standards for all tradeshow-related storage and staging.
Coordinate venue logistics, including placing food orders, and managing electrical and utility requirements for the show booth.
- Book shipping and freight for booth materials and equipment to and from each show.
- Coordinate with show organizers on hotel room blocks and staff travel logistics.
- What You Bring
Qualifications
2 years project management, operations, event/tradeshow logistics, or a related field; franchise, retail, or restaurant industry experience a plus.
Hands-on experience with generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) and the ability to apply them effectively to everyday work.
Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, including managing customer records, tracking activities and interactions, and maintaining accurate CRM data.
Exceptionally organized with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent, moving-part projects without letting details slip.
Proven ability to build and maintain systems (trackers, checklists, schedules) that keep complex work on track.
Strong communication and coordination skills — comfortable owning relationships with operators, vendors, show organizers, and internal stakeholders.
Ability to travel periodically for new store openings and tradeshows.
Physical Requirements
- Standing and walking for extended periods - up to 8 hours at a time.
- Lifting and carrying up to 25–50 pounds (cases of product, equipment, supplies).
Working near hot equipment such as fryers and ovens, and in hot, cold, or noisy environments like kitchens and walk-in coolers.
- Loading, unloading, and setting up tradeshow booth materials and equipment.
- Working in warehouse settings, including around outsourced labor and moving equipment.
- Some travel to store locations and tradeshow venues, and overnight stays.
What We Offer
- Compensation: $80,000-$90,000, commensurate with experience. 10% annual bonus.
- On-site in Birmingham, AL.
- Benefits.
- Flexibile PTO.
