General Position Description

This entry‑level field implementation role focuses on building foundational technical skills, supporting on‑site installations, and delivering customer training under guidance while progressing toward independent execution. Implementation Specialist I supports clients’ needs related to the implementation, installation, and training of PAR Excellence hardware and software systems while maintaining high standards of customer service, accuracy, and professionalism.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Install PAR Excellence hardware as well as software ensuring proper operation of technology solutions
  • Provide technology implementation and support of customer accounts
  • Provide product training for both hardware and software
  • Work with Technical Support to assist with resolving issues while on-site
  • Assist with system configuration data, including par levels and units of measure, to support accurate installation and system functionality
  • Support and assist with training activities for new Implementation Specialists under the guidance of senior implementation staff

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Progression toward successful completion of Tier 1 technical knowledge and skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Extensive travel required (75%)

Required Education, Credentials and Experience

  • Prior experience in healthcare supply chain, hospital operations, or healthcare equipment installation is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance with PAR clients, including government accounts
