Role Purpose
We are seeking a results-driven and highly organised campaign marketer to join our B2B Growth Marketing team on a 12 month fixed-term basis. This role is responsible for coordinating and delivering integrated marketing campaigns that support audience growth, customer expansion, and commercial objectives across Wood Mackenzie’s Natural Resources portfolio.
Working closely with the Marketing Director, you will take ownership of campaign management across its full lifecycle - spanning audience strategy, campaign planning and orchestration, channel optimisation, journey management, and sales interlock. You will collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product marketing, content, digital, and operations teams to ensure the seamless execution of campaigns that resonate with target personas within whitespace opportunities and move them through the buyer’s journey.
Key Responsibilities
Audience Campaign Strategy (Know Your Customer)
Develop and maintain audience campaign strategies rooted in a deep understanding of target personas, buyer needs, and whitespace opportunities.
Own the creation and management of campaign briefs, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on objectives, audience, messaging, and expected outcomes before campaign activation.
Define and refine campaign messaging in partnership with product marketing and content teams to ensure relevance, differentiation, and resonance across segments.
Campaign Management (Operational, Programmatic & Analytical)
Own campaign goals, KPIs, and budget management - setting clear success metrics and tracking spend and performance against agreed targets throughout the campaign lifecycle.
Lead campaign planning and orchestration across integrated channels including email, paid social, display, SEM, SEO, content syndication, and nurture flows - ensuring all workstreams are coordinated and delivered on time.
Drive channel planning and optimisation, partnering with digital marketing and media teams to manage paid acquisition, improve targeting into ICP audiences, and continuously refine tactics through A/B testing, segmentation, and data-driven iteration.
Own journey management, overseeing campaign setup and deployment activities including emails, landing pages, nurture programmes, audience lists, and campaign assets to ensure a seamless buyer experience.
Manage stakeholder interlock and communication - coordinating cross-functional teams, facilitating regular campaign reviews, and ensuring alignment with sales, marketing operations, and leadership throughout campaign delivery.
Provide consistent status reporting, monitoring campaign execution and performance in real time, surfacing risks, dependencies, and optimisation opportunities, and delivering regular performance updates to key stakeholders.
Sales Interlock
Work closely with sales and lead management teams to ensure effective lead routing, follow-up, and campaign readiness.
Support leads and pipeline reporting, tracking and analysing campaign performance against KPIs such as MQLs, SALs, cost per lead, and pipeline contribution - using insights to inform post-campaign reviews and future planning.
Partner with Marketing Operations to maintain campaign governance, lead management processes, and data quality standards.
Third-Party Partnership Management
Coordinate the execution of third-party marketing activities, including webinars, sponsored content, content syndication, and event partnerships.
Manage delivery logistics, follow-up processes, and lead handoff in collaboration with event operations and sales teams to maximise ROI from third-party channels.
Requirements
Experience executing integrated B2B marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing campaign delivery from briefing through to execution.
Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Pardot, Marketo, HubSpot, or equivalent.
Experience supporting webinars, virtual events, lead generation programmes, or customer marketing initiatives.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to execution excellence.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across global, matrixed teams.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting B2B marketing campaigns within Natural Resources, Energy, Commodities, Financial Services, SaaS, Technology, or related sectors.
Basic understanding of funnel metrics and pipeline acceleration tactics, with a willingness to develop this knowledge further.
Knowledge of marketing operations processes, lead management workflows, and campaign automation.
Experience using project management platforms such as Asana, Monday.com, Wrike, or similar.
- Experience working within global marketing organisations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
Expectations
This is a hybrid role and the successful applicant will be expected to be physically present in the office at least two days per week to foster and contribute to a collaborative environment, though this may be subject to change.
As this is a global role, occasional flexibility in working hours may be required to support international teams, programmes, and events.
Given the fixed-term nature of this role, the successful candidate will be expected to onboard quickly, demonstrate initiative, and sustain delivery momentum with minimal handover time.
