The Marketing Manager is a hands-on field position focused on building guest traffic and driving sales for our restaurant brands. Working closely with Operations leaders, this person develops and executes local marketing campaigns, community partnerships, and promotions that connect each restaurant with its guests.

This role spends approximately 50–75% of the time in our restaurants and local markets. It requires occasional evening and weekend work and use of a personal vehicle for business travel, with mileage reimbursed.

Responsibilities

Analyze marketing performance, consumer insights, competitive activity, and market trends to develop strategic recommendations that drive sales, traffic, and brand growth.

Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of local marketing campaigns to maximize awareness, guest engagement, and business results.

Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders to align marketing initiatives with operations, guest, and business objectives.

Collaborate with Operations to identify and develop community partnerships, sponsorships, and business-to-business opportunities that increase brand visibility, guest traffic, and local market presence.

Create, distribute, and evaluate marketing collateral and promotional materials to ensure effectiveness, brand consistency, and guest appeal.

Develop and execute marketing strategies for new restaurant openings, re-openings, remodels, and key brand initiatives.

Serve as a marketing subject matter expert, providing strategic guidance, education, and best practices to field leadership teams.

Create targeted marketing plans for underperforming or opportunity restaurants, leveraging data, insights, and localized marketing tactics to drive sales growth.

Lead local social media strategy, content planning, and guest engagement initiatives while supporting growth of guest databases and digital audiences.

Coordinate and execute public relations and earned media strategies in partnership with the Director of Marketing and agency partners.

Manage the accuracy, presentation, and marketing effectiveness of menus and promotional materials, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and positioning.

Ensure brand standards, messaging, and visual identity are consistently represented across all local marketing programs and communications.

Direct creative development with internal design resources and external agencies to produce compelling, on-brand marketing and advertising materials.

Support menu launches, limited-time offers, and promotional campaigns by developing marketing plans and execution strategies that drive awareness and guest participation.

Measure, analyze, and communicate campaign performance through ROI reporting, guest metrics, and actionable marketing insights.

Develop and manage annual promotional calendars, optimizing performance to achieve business objectives.

Maximize marketing budget allocation through data-driven decision making, analysis, and resource prioritization.

Participate in cross-functional projects that support brand growth, guest experience, digital innovation, and business development.

Represent the brand at community, promotional, and special events as needed, including occasional evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations or a related field required

3+ years field marketing experience in the Restaurant, Beverage, Hospitality, or Retail industry preferred

Graphic Design, HTML, Social Digital experience/proficiency a plus

Proficiency in back office use of hospitality platforms such as Open Table and other reservation systems a plus.

Multi-unit / site support strongly preferred

Exceptional communication and presentation skills

Strong professional presence, judgment and decision making

Highly organized and detailed leader with a natural ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines

Strong business acumen
