- Steiner Industries, a division of Bunzl, is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager
- who is equal parts strategist and hands-on executor to lead and advance our
- marketing efforts. Founded in 1975, Steiner Industries is a leading U.S.
- manufacturer and supplier of welding protective products.
- This is an individual contributor role designed for an experienced marketing
- professional who is comfortable owning the full scope of the marketing function.
- From developing strategy and managing campaigns to creating content,
- coordinating digital marketing, supporting product initiatives, and handling
- day-to-day execution, this person will roll up their sleeves and do the work,
- not simply direct it.
- The Senior Marketing Manager will partner closely with the Director of Sales and
- General Manager on strategic initiatives while independently driving marketing
- priorities from concept through completion. This is an excellent opportunity for
- a resourceful, self-directed marketer who enjoys variety, ownership, and seeing
- the direct impact of their work within a stable, profitable company with more
- than 50 years of industry leadership.
- The Senior Marketing Manager is a hybrid position, based out of our Cerritos,
- CA, office (3 days in the office and 2 days remote - (subject to business
- needs)).
Responsibilities
- Marketing Operations & Execution
- Create and execute marketing strategies and campaigns defined by the Director
of Sales and Marketing.
- Successfully create and execute a comprehensive campaign to launch a suite of
- new products in multiple distribution channels with an emphasis on rapidly
- securing key account placement.
- Lead and manage key initiatives/projects within budget, ensuring on-time
completion and on-budget delivery.
- Lead day-to-day marketing activities across digital and traditional channels.
- Track campaign performance and provide regular reporting to leadership.
Digital Marketing & Optimization
- Create and execute SEO initiatives and optimize website content for search
performance.
- Manage website re-platforming initiative, collaborating with agency, with
- focus on updating the appearance of the site as well as improving upon user
- experience.
- Create and manage email marketing campaigns and automation workflows.
- Oversee social media execution and content planning.
- Optimize Amazon storefront performance (in partnership with external agency).
- Monitor and analyze digital performance metrics and drive continuous
optimization.
Channel Marketing & Distributor Programs
- Work in concert with distributor partners to successfully execute marketing
programs.
- Manage co‑op marketing relationships with national accounts.
- Ensure marketing commitments are delivered, tracked, and documented.
- Support distributor enablement and partner engagement.
Sales Enablement & Trade Shows
- Work with outside agency to create new trade show booth.
- Develop and execute sales enablement tools, materials, and resources.
- Manage planning, logistics, and execution for eight trade shows annually.
- Support strategic sales opportunities with tailored marketing materials.
- Partner with sales leadership on priorities, initiatives, and requests.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
required.
- 10+ years of progressively responsible marketing experience with measurable
results.
- Strong hands-on digital marketing experience, including SEO, website
management, email marketing, and campaign execution.
- Proven ability to execute strategy with accuracy, ownership, and
follow-through.
- Proficiency with WordPress or similar CMS platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using Excel, Google Analytics,
marketing automation tools, and performance reporting.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and PowerBi a plus.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to balance multiple
priorities.
- Outstanding communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience in B2B marketing, especially within distributor or channel-focused
environments.
- Background in industrial, manufacturing, or distribution industries
preferred.
- Experience marketing technical products with specifications or certifications
preferred.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, BigCommerce, Amazon Seller
Central) and using AI tools to drive marketing efficiency preferred.
- Salary range: $125K - $140K plus bonus eligibility, based on experience,
- education, and geographic location.
