- The Amazon Prime UX Design team is at the heart of the Prime membership,
- innovating and designing on behalf of our customers. We are relentlessly focused
- on improving the membership experience to delight customers around the globe.
- Prime UX researchers and designers work with global Product, Marketing,
- Branding, Data Science, and Tech team partners, to deliver compelling customer
- experiences for Amazon worldwide (WW).
- The WW Prime Member Growth team is on a mission to bring the value of Prime to
- hundreds of millions of customers worldwide. We're looking for a Product
- Designer to join our growing team and shape the end-to-end Prime membership
- experience — from how customers discover and understand Prime's value to how
- they engage with it every day. In this role, you'll work on high-impact
- initiatives at the intersection of AI and membership, including conversational
- AI assistants, AI-driven personalization, and value communication strategies
- that help customers get the most out of their membership. You'll collaborate
- with product managers, engineers, researchers, and cross-functional partners to
- define, design, and deliver experiences that reach a truly global audience.
- To thrive in this role, you think big and lead before you’re asked. You juggle
- competing priorities across projects and stakeholders without losing the thread
- of what’s best for the customer. You know how to present ideas professionally
- through a strategic and creative lens. You have a strong capability to
- collaborate closely with other UX designers, product management, engineering,
- scientists, and operational teams as you go from early-stage product concepts to
- launches of new features and experiences. You have a solid understanding of
- dynamic interfaces and conversation design fundamentals. You approach your craft
- with an AI-native mindset, actively integrating AI tools and capabilities into
- your research, ideation, and delivery process to move faster and raise the
- quality of your output. You think first from the customer's perspective, use
- research and data to influence your designs, set relentlessly high standards for
- yourself, and deliver best-in-class customer experiences. You thrive in a
- fast-paced, agile environment. The ideal candidate will be able to visualize an
- experience in the abstract, break down complex use cases, and drive the vision
- into solid design deliverables.
Key job responsibilities
- Design the CX/UX of multiple products or a single complex product; includes
owning end-to-end UX from strategy to tactical execution, to UX sign-off.
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate research synthesis, design exploration, and
iteration
- Continuously adopt emerging AI capabilities into your design workflow to
increase speed and quality of output
- Advocate and design for the customer using objective data such as market
analysis and customer insights.
- Facilitate collaboration across a diverse set of global Prime business
stakeholders.
- Partner with product and business teams to plan and balance immediate
requirements with long-term, scalable solutions.
- Define and improve design best practices and help drive their adoption.
- Assess and optimize the effectiveness of new and existing features with
validation techniques including usability testing,
- Present design work to UX partners, cross-disciplinary teams, and executive
leaders.
- Proactively manage your own work queue, time, and expectations; meet deadlines
and communicate needs and tradeoffs if your schedule is in jeopardy

- designing experiences that help customers discover, understand, and fall in love
- with Prime.
- Our team operates at a truly global scale, building customer experiences across
- channels, locales, and cohorts. We collaborate closely with product, science,
- engineering, and marketing partners to create strategies that are locally
- relevant and globally scalable. Whether it's crafting a first-touch experience
- for a new member in an emerging market or reimagining how long-tenured members
- perceive value, we're obsessed with making every interaction intuitive,
- delightful, and meaningful.
- Basic Qualifications: - 5+ years of design experience
- Have an online portfolio or samples of work on resume, demonstrating
experience creating great end-to-end, user-centered design solutions and
patterns, across desktop and mobile devices
- Knowledge of best practices for information architecture and design
- Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative
Cloud, or similar
- Knowledge of usability principles and techniques
- Experience in delivering design solutions for projects of large scope and
complexity
- Experience working with stakeholders to plan and execute programs that are
strategic in nature
- Demonstrated experience with AI driven workflows
- 3+ years of delivering mass-market consumer web / mobile products experiences
Preferred Qualifications: - 5+ years of mass-market consumer web / mobile
products experience
- Experience shipping innovative, successful consumer products
- Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with
developers for implementation of designs
- Experience in visual design expertise demonstrated through mockups and style
guides
- Experience with AI/ML technologies
- Experience owning program strategy, managing end-to-end delivery, and
communicating results to senior leadership

- The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package
- will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
- compensation will be determined based on factors including experience,
- qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits
