- Compensation: $102,912 - $149,738
Please note that the compensation range listed includes base salary and potential incentive pay. Role Overview
The Senior Product Manager, Protection Plans & Electrical is accountable for the commercial performance and lifecycle execution of Enercare’s Plans portfolio (Protection, Maintenance, coverage, chargeables) and Electrical (Generator, Battery/Backup (BESS), EV Chargers/EVSE, EVM/EMS) product offerings.
This role translates enterprise product strategy into pricing, offer design, GTM execution, and retention levers, ensuring plans and electrical services drive sustainable growth, margin, and multi‑product household penetration.
The Sr Product Manager leads a team of three (2 PMs, 1 Analyst) and serves as the primary connector between product strategy and frontline execution.
Key Responsibilities
Own P&L performance for Plans and Electrical portfolios, delivering against revenue, margin, and retention targets.
Execute pricing strategy, offer architecture, and lifecycle optimization within portfolio guardrails.
Drive unit additions, renewal lift, and churn reduction through data‑driven offers and experience improvements.
- Lead monthly and quarterly performance reviews; own forecasts and variance explanations.
- Lead portfolio‑specific initiatives that increase multi‑product household penetration.
Translate VOC, field, and call‑centre insights into quarterly and annual execution roadmaps.
Ensure regulatory, certification, installation, and service‑readiness requirements are executed for all offerings.
Partner with Sales, Marketing, Field, Call Centre, Finance, and Supply Chain to deliver GTM plans and enablement.
Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing product team (2 PMs, 1 Analyst).
Build strong execution discipline, commercial acumen, and cross‑functional leadership capability.
Success Metrics (How This Role Is Measured)
- Protection Plans revenue growth and margin expansion
- Maintenance Plan penetration and renewal improvement
- Reduction in churn and increase in customer lifetime value
- Electrical portfolio revenue and product mix optimization
- Multi‑product household attach rate
- Forecast accuracy (units, margin, renewals)
Qualifications
- 8+ years experience in product, portfolio, or category management
- Proven success in home services or recurring‑revenue businesses
- Demonstrated people leadership (PMs / Analysts)
- Strong financial acumen (pricing, P&L, business cases)
- Experience operating in multi‑vendor, services‑led environments
- Strong executive and frontline communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent an asset.
