The Product Manager will report to the Sr. Director, Product & Operations at Accruit and work alongside the other Product and the Development staff. This role will take responsibility for owning large components of the product roadmap, along with key projects to improve overall product clarity/understanding. The role will bring a solid base of product management

  • Accruit and work alongside the other Product and the Development staff. This
  • role will take responsibility for owning large components of the product
  • roadmap, along with key projects to improve overall product
  • clarity/understanding. The role will bring a solid base of product management
  • experience with software applications and the ability to lead innovative
  • approaches to product direction and delivery.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Define and own product outcomes, driving alignment across engineering and

stakeholders to deliver measurable improvements to the business

  • Determine scope of work for large strategic initiatives, collaborating with

development team, UX designer, and business analyst to clarify needs, define

implementation, and write user stories

  • Engage with Dev team to identify the best strategic implementation to meet

acceptance criteria/goals for new and innovative areas of the application

  • Coordinate with Customer Success and development team in addressing client

support needs

  • Enable Customer Success by managing release plans, training sessions, and

client-facing support materials

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Minimum required:
  • 5+ years of experience in product management with software offerings (internal

applications and/or SaaS) required

  • Highly desired: 2+ years of experience with software focused on enabling

workflow productivity – especially for financial services processing workflows

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience and

training required

  • Skills & Abilities:
  • Leadership mentality: defining the mission, leading a cross-functional team to

success and taking accountability for the outcome

  • Demonstrated ability to identify/understand user needs and create unique

product solutions above and beyond what users have specifically asked for

  • Ability to quickly learn new processes, products, technologies, and user types
  • Extensive experience with detailed Epic/Feature/User Story writing and

application of Agile best practices such as leading sprint ceremonies

  • Strong written & verbal communication skills that deliver clarity and

confidence around complex ideas, including workflow diagramming and roadmap

prioritization

  • User acceptance testing best practice application and supporting documentation

development

  • Thorough understanding of leading use cases for advanced ML/AI technologies to

user workflows in productivity software applications

  • Other Requirements:
  • Flexibility in work hours when early-morning meetings needed for coordination

with Europe-based development staff

  • Infrequent travel for conferences and/or client meetings (<10%)o Ability to

provide personal transportation for training or meetings may be required

  • Occasionally lifts up to 25 pounds
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and operating standard office equipment
