Job Summary
The Consumer Bank Product Manager II leads a team responsible for the strategy, development, and performance of consumer banking products. This role is pivotal in driving profitability while maintaining a moderate risk profile.
Essential Functions
Lead a team in the design, development, and management of consumer banking products and services.
Oversee product acquisition strategies, credit decisioning processes, and portfolio performance metrics.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance product offerings and service delivery.
Utilize industry research, competitive intelligence, and data insights to identify and target profitable client segments.
Identify and resolve product and system inefficiencies that impact client acquisition and relationship deepening.
Manage vendor relationships to support product delivery and innovation.
Coach, mentor, and develop team members to achieve performance goals and foster professional growth.
Performs other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities and/or activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice
Complies with all KeyBank policies and procedures, including without limitation, acting professionally at all times, conducting business ethically, avoiding conflicts of interest, and acting in the best interests of Key’s clients and Key.
Education
Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. (preferred)
OR equivalent experience (required)
- Work Experience
- 7+ years of experience in financial services or a comparable industry. (required)
7+ years in product management, community development, marketing, or communications, with a strong emphasis on compliance and risk management. (preferred)
Licenses and Certifications
Project Management Professional (PMP) - PMI (preferred)

Managing a suite of products by prioritizing investments, balancing risk and return, and aligning with strategic goals.

Ensuring that product features, services, and enhancements are closely aligned with evolving customer expectations and behaviors.
Streamlining processes, reducing waste, and improving workflows to enhance product delivery, scalability, and profitability.
Collaborating with marketing teams to position products effectively, develop go-to-market strategies, and support customer acquisition and engagement.
Applying financial modeling, pricing strategies, and profitability analysis to support sound product decisions and business outcomes.
Communicating product vision, strategy, and value propositions clearly and persuasively to stakeholders, customers, and cross-functional teams

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
