The Senior AI Product Manager at Mojang Studios will help teams adopt AI tools, build new skills, and improve everyday workflows. This role partners with business units, engineering, product, and studio leaders to translate emerging AI capabilities into practical, trusted solutions for Minecraft and Mojang. The ideal candidate combines hands-on experience with AI tools, solid organizational and communication skills, and a passion for helping others learn new technologies. This role supports AI education, workflow automation, and cross-team project coordination, helping the AI Team prioritize opportunities and move initiatives forward. This is an opportunity to help Mojang become an AI-native organization through practical improvements in how teams work and collaborate.
Responsibilities
Partner with teams and business leaders to understand their needs, identify relevant AI tools, and support adoption of approved capabilities that deliver practical value.
Develop and maintain AI learning resources, coordinate training and demonstrations, and help technical and non-technical employees use AI confidently and responsibly.
Identify opportunities to simplify or automate workflows, working with partner teams to define requirements, pilot solutions, and measure improvements in productivity, quality, or efficiency.
Coordinate cross-functional AI projects by bringing together stakeholders, clarifying ownership, tracking progress and dependencies, and surfacing blockers to keep initiatives moving forward.
Support the AI Team’s planning and prioritization by organizing incoming requests, gathering user feedback and adoption insights, and sharing progress, reusable solutions, and lessons learned.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
OR equivalent experience
5+ years experience translating complex technical AI concepts into business value for executives, engineering teams, and non-technical stakeholders with solid fluency in AI tools, models, systems, AI-assisted development workflows, and current industry trends
5+ years experience partnering with engineering, data science, research, product, and external partner teams to define, prototype, launch, and scale AI-powered solutions
5+ years experience in stakeholder management including senior leadership, technical teams, and cross-functional partners
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to educate and enable both technical and non-technical audiences on new technologies
Experience operating in ambiguous, fast-moving, innovation-oriented environments
Hands-on experience building, launching, or scaling AI-powered products, internal tools, prototypes, or incubation efforts
Experience with GitHub Copilot, AI-assisted development, agentic workflows, model evaluation, developer productivity, or internal AI platforms
Experience managing technical incubation environments, AI hardware, compute access, model access, or experimentation infrastructure
Executive storytelling, written communication, and product strategy skills
High-trust, high-autonomy ownership style with transparent communication and bias for action

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $160,200 - $261,000 per year.
