- The Buying Experiences team is looking for a highly motivated, customer
- obsessed, and entrepreneurial product leader to evolve the shopping experience
- on Amazon. This Buying Experience Product Manager will lead initiatives to
- simplify and innovate on product discovery and evaluation. This role will
- innovate on current and next-generation product pages that are dynamically
- tailored and integrated with multiple other Amazon systems. This role will cover
- both existing and new marketplaces and provide cross-functional leadership for
- product and business strategy.
Key job responsibilities
As a Senior Product Manager Technical, you’ll
- Propose and implement new projects or recommend system improvements.
- Create, prioritize, communicate, manage, and execute roadmaps, project plans,
and commitments
- Have the obsession to drive a better customer experience through everything
that we do here at Amazon
- Bring innovative ideas to the table, in order to find better ways of
accomplishing our customer objectives
- Recommend business and product strategy
- Report progress and influence decisions with executive leadership
- Work closely with Sr. engineers and Team Leaders to architect and develop the
best technical design and approach
- Foster culture of continuous innovations through mentoring, feedback, and
metrics
- Interface with a diverse customer base to understand requirements, priorities,
and processes
- Set clear, measurable quality goals for an organization in a data-driven way
- Personal traits not unique to this position, but necessary for Amazon leaders:

- A day in the life
- This role will work with geographically diverse engineering teams to drive the
- overall vision and roadmap for a multi-program shopping experience. This person
- will partner strongly with UX Design teams, engineering and partner teams across
- the Amazon Stores org to deliver owned projects and influence partner teams
- towards the desired customer experience cross program shopping. The primary
- customers are Amazon shopper customers and driving innovation to the buying
- experience.
About the team
- This role sits within the broader Core Shopping organization, which owns the
- technology stack for the Amazon store worldwide from the front-end customer
- experience to back-end service technology and website hosting. Basic
- Qualifications: - 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing,
business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions
and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers
- and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning Preferred
- Qualifications: - Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau,
Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
- Experience building cross-functional partnerships and influencing stakeholders
across the organization to act without having a direct reporting relationship

- The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package
- will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
- compensation will be determined based on factors including experience,
- qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits
