About Phorest
Phorest started in 2002 on a busy salon reception desk as a simple text-reminder tool.
Today, Phorest builds software and AI-powered tools used by more than 155,000 hair, beauty, and medspa professionals worldwide. We're a product-led SaaS company solving real-world problems across bookings, payments, marketing, and business management, with a big focus on building great experiences for both the businesses we serve and the people who use our products. Everything we build helps the salon and medspa industry thrive.
We're also a Certified B Corp, and 25% of the company is owned by Phoresters. When the company grows, everyone has a stake in that.
The Opportunity
We're building something exciting at Phorest. With an established presence in the hair and beauty industry, we're now investing in our next big growth opportunity: the North American medspa market.
We're looking for a commercially driven, entrepreneurial Account Executive β MedSpa to help us grow our presence, build relationships, and turn opportunities into long-term customers.
You'll own the full sales cycle, from qualifying leads generated through Marketing, Partnerships, and industry events to delivering engaging product demos, negotiating, and closing deals. You'll also get out into the medspa community, attending conferences and events across the US to build relationships and establish Phorest as a trusted technology partner.
This is an opportunity to help shape our sales approach in a growing market. We're looking for a self-starter who's curious, resilient, and comfortable working without an established playbook. Someone who learns quickly, takes ownership, and isn't afraid to test new ideas.
If you're excited by the opportunity to build something, make a real impact, and help drive Phorest's next phase of growth, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
Own the sales journey from start to finish
- Manage the full sales cycle, from qualifying inbound, partner-sourced, and event-generated leads through discovery, product demonstrations, negotiations, and closing new business.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities, prioritizing established, multi-provider medspas that align with Phorest's ideal customer profile.
- Respond promptly to new leads, understand their needs and buying timelines, and guide prospects through a thoughtful, consultative sales process.
- Take ownership of your sales performance, consistently working toward monthly, quarterly, and annual recurring revenue targets.
- Identify opportunities to improve conversion rates, strengthen pipeline performance, and create a positive experience for prospective customers.
Deliver engaging, consultative sales experiences
- Lead discovery conversations with medspa owners, operators, clinicians, and practice leaders to understand their business models, challenges, and growth ambitions.
- Deliver compelling, tailored product demonstrations that show how Phorest can help medspa businesses improve efficiency, build client loyalty, and drive growth.
- Translate technical product capabilities into clear, relevant business benefits that resonate with different decision-makers.
- Confidently navigate objections, competitive comparisons, and commercial negotiations to build trust and close deals.
- Position Phorest as more than just software, demonstrating how we can be a valuable technology and growth partner.
Build relationships within the medspa community
- Represent Phorest at medspa conferences, trade shows, partner events, and industry gatherings across the US.
- Build meaningful relationships with prospective customers, industry professionals, and partners to strengthen our presence and credibility in the market.
- Work closely with Marketing and Partnerships to maximize opportunities generated through events, campaigns, and partner relationships.
- Follow up on event and partner-sourced leads, turning initial conversations into qualified opportunities and new customers.
- Bring insights from industry events and customer conversations back into the business to help shape our sales and marketing approach.
Collaborate and help shape our approach
- Partner closely with our MedSpa Marketing, Partnerships, Customer Success, and Product teams to deliver a seamless experience from initial engagement through onboarding.
- Share insights on customer needs, market trends, competitor activity, and lead quality to help refine how we position and sell Phorest.
- Work with our Partner Development team to maximize partner-sourced opportunities and build strong relationships across the medspa ecosystem.
- Ensure smooth customer handovers by maintaining accurate information and clear communication with our onboarding teams.
- Contribute ideas, test new approaches, and help develop a repeatable, effective sales process as our medspa business grows.
Take ownership of your pipeline and performance
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, sales activity, and pipeline information within our CRM.
- Track key performance metrics, including lead conversion, demo effectiveness, win rates, and recurring revenue generated.
- Use data and customer insights to identify opportunities, manage risks, and continuously improve sales performance.
- Stay informed about the medspa industry, competitor offerings, and Phorest product developments to strengthen your customer conversations.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who's excited by the opportunity to build relationships, create opportunities, and make a real impact.
You'll ideally bring:
- Experience in a full-cycle sales or Account Executive role, ideally within SaaS, B2B technology, or another consultative sales environment.
- A proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets, particularly in an inbound or lead-driven sales environment.
- Strong discovery, presentation, and product demonstration skills, with the ability to understand customer challenges and communicate relevant solutions.
- A consultative approach to selling, with confidence handling objections, navigating negotiations, and closing deals.
- A natural curiosity and the ability to quickly learn technical products and explain their value to non-technical audiences.
- A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset, with the confidence to take initiative, work independently, and create momentum without a fully established playbook.
- Resilience, adaptability, and a growth mindset. You're comfortable with challenges, willing to experiment, and motivated to learn from every conversation.
- Strong organizational and pipeline management skills, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities simultaneously.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar sales tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage with business owners, clinicians, and senior decision-makers.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and Customer Success teams.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly across the US to meet prospective customers, attend medspa conferences, and participate in partner and industry events.
Even better if you have
- Experience selling software or technology solutions to small and medium-sized businesses or multi-location operators.
- Knowledge of the medspa, medical aesthetics, skincare, beauty, or wellness industries.
- An existing network of relationships within the US medspa community.
- Experience working in a startup, launching a new product, or helping a business expand into a new market.
- Familiarity with AI-powered sales tools, automation, or sales engagement platforms that help improve productivity and customer engagement.
