POSITION TITLE: Sr. Account Manager

LOCATION: U.S. (remote)

20% - 30% travel is expected domestically and internationally when needed.

Who We Are:

TriNetX connects healthcare organizations and researchers across the globe so they can see what’s happening in real patient populations—not guesses, not simulations.

Our aim is simple and ambitious: Provide a clear path to trustworthy answers, whether your goal is to create promising new therapies, publish groundbreaking research, or improve health outcomes.

We keep identifiable data where it belongs—inside more than 11,000+ clinical sites across 20+ countries—preserving security, provenance, and granularity. Our trusted partnerships with providers ensure high-fidelity data, and a properly governed linkage back to individual patients.

At TriNetX, we enable life sciences, healthcare, and academic institutions to strengthen human health—with data you can trace, evidence you can defend, and answers you can trust.

Who We Are Looking For

As a Senior Account Manager, you will manage key Pharma and CRO accounts, driving adoption, engagement, and growth. This role combines strategic account management with ownership of ongoing sales opportunities with a focus on renewals and net revenue retention and growth. It’s a unique chance to be at the forefront of applying real-world patient data to accelerate clinical research and improve outcomes. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders—both internally and externally—while contributing directly to TriNetX’s scalable growth.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Manage a portfolio of named accounts, serving as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for assigned clients.
  • Drive adoption of TriNetX within member organizations, including onboarding, training, and integration into internal workflows.
  • Drive account retention, expansion, and upsell by identifying new use cases and aligning TriNetX solutions to client needs.
  • Build and maintain relationships across multiple key decision-makers and stakeholders at assigned accounts including clinical, medical affairs, and procurement contacts.
  • Develop and execute account plans that define expansion strategy, relationship maps, and client success metrics.
  • Coordinate with delivery, data management, and solutions teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful project outcomes.
  • Champion customer interests internally and provide actionable feedback to improve products and processes.
  • Track account health, renewal risks, and expansion opportunities in Salesforce CRM.
  • Represent TriNetX at client meetings, advisory boards, and industry conferences relevant to assigned accounts.

What You Bring to TriNetX

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience in key account management, preferably in healthcare IT or pharmaceutical/CRO environments.
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial processes and RWD/RWE applications.
  • Demonstrated success in sales and account growth, with ability to negotiate and close renewals/add-ons.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills across all organizational levels.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to learn and apply new tools quickly.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in problem-solving.
  • Results-driven, accountable for short- and long-term goals, and comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive, growth-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (20–30%).

Preferred:

  • Experience managing accounts with real-world data, clinical trial technology, or SaaS data products.
  • Background in clinical research, drug development, or medical affairs within a pharmaceutical or biotech client.
