Position: Full-time, in-office

Compensation: $48,000 base salary plus uncapped commissions and bonuses

We are looking for an Insurance Sales Account Manager to join our award-winning Cambridge agency. This role is suited to someone who enjoys speaking with people, creating opportunities and helping clients protect what matters most through home, auto, life and living benefits insurance.

Our agency has ranked among the Top 5% of Desjardins Insurance agencies for 18 years. We provide training, coaching, technology and licensing support, but we are looking for someone who will bring initiative, energy and a strong desire to succeed.

What You’ll Do

• Provide home, auto, life and living benefits insurance solutions based on each client’s needs
• Follow up with online leads, existing clients, past prospects and referrals
• Make outbound calls and schedule insurance review appointments
• Conduct needs-based conversations and recommend appropriate coverage
• Build referral relationships with local car dealerships, real estate agents, mortgage professionals, lawyers and other community partners
• Maintain a consistent sales pipeline and follow-up system
• Work toward monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals
• Participate in regular coaching, training and team development
• Provide a professional and positive client experience throughout the sales process

What We’re Looking For

• At least three years of customer-facing experience
• Sales experience in insurance, banking, financial services, automotive, telecommunications, real estate, retail or another results-focused environment is preferred
• A history of working toward goals and achieving measurable results
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Confidence speaking with prospective and existing clients by phone
• The ability to build relationships and ask thoughtful questions
• Personal accountability, resilience and a willingness to be coached
• The motivation to develop leads instead of waiting for opportunities to arrive
• An Ontario OTL or LLQP licence is an asset but not required. We will sponsor the right candidate through the licensing process

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary of $48,000
• Uncapped commissions and performance bonuses
• Expected total annual compensation of approximately $75,000
• Opportunity to earn above the target by exceeding sales goals
