JOB SUMMARY
The Sr. Account Manager, Corporate Partnerships owns the enterprise tier of the Corporate Group Sales account portfolio and is the single point of intake for licensed in-club partnership agreements.
On the account management side, this role is accountable for retention, renewal and re-sign performance across the largest corporate accounts, and for driving ongoing EFT Set Up within that portfolio through activation planning with club leadership. On the partnership side, this role receives, qualifies and shepherds all licensed in-club partnership requests, including Swim School and basketball licensees, from initial request through executed agreement, and maintains the record of active agreements and expiration dates.
This is the senior individual contributor role on the account management side of the department and serves as a resource to the Account Manager on complex accounts and escalations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Enterprise Account Management and Retention
- Own an assigned portfolio of the highest-value corporate accounts, serving as the primary relationship owner for benefits managers, corporate wellness managers and other client contacts.
- Achieve assigned retention and re-sign targets, including proactive management of the Pending Re-sign file so that accounts are re-signed before lapsing.
- Build and execute annual activation and marketing plans for assigned accounts in partnership with club leadership and the marketing team, to drive EFT Set Up and revenue within the portfolio.
- Conduct business reviews with key accounts, presenting enrollment performance and recommending program changes where participation is below expectation.
- Know and understand the assigned book of business, including contract terms, pricing, eligible population and enrollment history for each account.
Renewal and Re-sign Ownership
- Manage the full renewal cycle for assigned accounts: track upcoming expirations, initiate renewal conversations in advance, confirm pricing against the current rate card, and secure signature.
- Identify accounts eligible to upgrade from a non-paying or discount-only arrangement into a Sponsored or Company Paid program, and own that upgrade conversation.
- Escalate at-risk accounts to the Director, Corporate Group Sales with a documented save plan.
Licensed In-Club Partnership Agreements
- Act as the single point of intake for all licensed in-club partnership requests, including supporting Swim School operators and existing in-club (non-real estate) licensees, received from clubs, operators, or above-club leadership.
- Qualify each request against club suitability, available space and the current partnership terms structure before it advances.
- Route requests to Legal for agreement drafting and review, coordinate redlines between the operator and internal stakeholders, and track each agreement through to full execution.
- Maintain a current register of all active licensed partnership agreements, including operator, club, effective date, fee or revenue share structure, and expiration date, and initiate the renewal process ahead of expiration.
- Partner with club and above-club leadership on operator compliance with agreed in-club standards, and escalate unresolved issues to the Director, Corporate Group Sales.
- Serve as the ongoing relationship contact for licensed partners and coordinate internally on billing, reporting and issue resolution.
Reporting and Business Management
- Maintain and update Salesforce timely and accurately with all account activity, renewal stages, agreement status and client communication.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators for the assigned portfolio, including retention rate, re-sign volume and EFT Set Up against budget.
- Serve as a resource and partner with the Account Manager on complex accounts, escalations and renewal strategy.
- Attend and contribute to required Corporate Group Sales team meetings, and perform other duties as assigned by the Director, Corporate Group Sales.
