We’re currently looking for a Staff Accountant that can bring their technical accounting and reporting competence, attention to detail, strong work ethic and organizational skills to our team. We are looking for a highly motivated self‑starter with a positive, results‑oriented mindset. The ideal candidate will excel in a deadline‑sensitive environment, consistently delivering efficient and effective outcomes while fostering teamwork across the organization.

Position Summary

This position will be engaged as a member of the corporate accounting, reporting, and planning team and has the potential for professional growth and advancement in the intermediate and long-term future. This role offers the opportunity to further develop accounting and reporting skills, as well as financial planning and analysis skills, in a unique and dynamic industry.

Responsibilities

• GL accounting, reconciliation, preparation, and analysis related to operating activities

• Assist with preparation of management reporting and presentations
• Prepare balance sheet analytics
• Assist with monthly and quarterly accounting close processes
• Assist with Management, SEC and SBA reporting
• Assist with internal and external audit requests
• Special projects and ad hoc reporting as directed by supervisors
• Utilize Claude/Copilot AI to enhance accounting processes and technology

Skills/ Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred (Master’s in Accounting or MBA is a plus)

• Must exhibit a strong work ethic and be willing and able to complete projects accurately under tight deadlines
• Should be detail oriented
• Should exhibit critical thinking qualities and problem-solving abilities
• Should exhibit strong organizational skills
• Should exhibit strong excel skills
