The work sits at the intersection of the monthly close, account analysis, and supporting management reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the monthly close process, including preparation of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and general ledger analysis.
- Investigate and resolve account discrepancies and support actual-to-budget and actual-to-prior-year variance explanations.
- Maintain supporting documentation and assist with preparation of year-end audit schedules and external auditor requests.
- Support preparation of monthly management reporting packages, financial dashboards, and ad hoc analyses.
- Help analyze revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, and profitability by company, business unit, product, or customer as needed.
- Support ERP data quality and contribute to improvements in accounting processes, procedures, and internal controls.
- Build and maintain accurate Excel workbooks for reconciliations, analysis, and reporting. Experience with Power Query or Power Pivot is a plus.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills when working with financial data.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
