About the Role
RPM Consulting Inc is looking for a detail-driven General Ledger Accountant to join our team in Asheville, NC. Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments in accordance with GAAP
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Analyze account variances and investigate discrepancies
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2+ years of general ledger or full-cycle accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Experience with month-end close and financial reporting
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
