Job Details: Job Location: Chicago IL Madison Ave - Chicago, IL, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $90000.00 - $130000.00Salary/year, Job Shift: Day, Turn Financial Data Into Business Impact You know FP&A. You’ve built budgets and forecasts, analyzed performance, created dashboards, and turned complex financial data into insights leaders can actually use. Now, you’re looking for an opportunity where you can do more with that experience. At Savant Wealth Management, we’re looking for an experienced Financial Analyst, FP&A to join our Corporate Finance team and work at the intersection of finance, data, technology, and business strategy. This is an especially exciting opportunity for someone with experience in wealth management, asset management, banking, investments, or broader financial services who wants exposure beyond traditional FP&A. You won’t be limited to one narrow area. You’ll contribute across budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, Power BI reporting, business intelligence, process improvement, and strategic analysis while partnering with teams and leaders across the firm. The position is designed to provide financial analysis and business support across departments and senior leadership. What You'll Do As a Financial Analyst, FP&A, you'll help turn financial information into meaningful business insights and support decision-making across Savant. You can expect to: Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets, including headcount, income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, and capital planning. Analyze actual financial results against budget, forecast, and prior periods, identifying key drivers, trends, and opportunities. Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and financial reports that increase visibility into performance and key metrics. Use advanced Excel capabilities to analyze large and complex datasets and develop financial models. Prepare clear, data-driven analyses and presentations for functional leaders, executives, committees, and the board. Partner across FP&A, Accounting, Data, Technology, and other areas of Savant. Help improve and automate financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes. Maintain accurate, consistent, and well-documented reporting and data sources. Explore ways emerging technology, including AI, can improve financial processes, efficiency, and analytical capabilities. A Few Things to Know Location: This position has flexibility to work from Savant's Rockford, IL; Lincolnshire, IL; or Downtown Chicago office. Work Model: Initially, more in-office time is expected. Once fully up and running, there may be an opportunity to move into Savant's hybrid model of three days in office and two days from home. Hours: Standard business hours with flexibility based on business needs. Some additional hours may be required around month-end and quarter-end Qualifications: What You Need to Bring We're looking for someone with the financial foundation and technical capabilities to step into the work and make an impact. Required qualifications include: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience. Professional experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. Strong financial analysis skills with the ability to interpret results, identify trends, and communicate insights to non-finance audiences. Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling. Hands-on experience building reports and dashboards in Microsoft Power BI. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and levels of an organization. Ability to work independently and successfully manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. What Could Make You Stand Out While not required, we're especially interested in candidates who bring: Experience in wealth management, asset management, banking, investments, or financial services Experience with an FP&A or planning system such as Workday Adaptive Planning Experience with ERP or accounting systems Exposure to SQL or Python Experience improving or automating financial reporting, analytical, or planning processes. The Person Who Will Thrive Here You're analytical, curious, and comfortable digging into the details, but you don't want to spend your career simply maintaining someone else's model. You enjoy moving between a financial model, a large dataset, a Power BI dashboard, and a conversation with the business about what the numbers actually mean. When you see something manual, repetitive, or inefficient, you naturally start thinking about how it could be better. And most importantly, you understand that great FP&A isn't simply about reporting the numbers. It's about connecting the numbers to the business and helping people make better decisions. What Sets Savant Apart At Savant, we believe exceptional client experiences start with exceptional team members.
