About the Role
Triunity Software in Dallas, TX is looking for a driven and curious Junior Business Analyst to join our growing team! This is an exciting opportunity to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions in a fast-paced software environment. If you're passionate about data, problem-solving, and making a real impact, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from stakeholders across departments
- Assist in the development of process improvement strategies and workflow optimization
- Create and maintain detailed business requirement documents (BRDs), user stories, and use cases
- Collaborate with software developers and project managers to ensure solutions align with business goals
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by developing test cases and tracking defects
- Analyze data sets to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for operational improvement
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in a business analyst or similar role
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools such as Jira or Confluence
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to stakeholders
- Experience with SQL or data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus
