The posting, in full
It starts with our culture ... Common sense has never been common. If it were, the world would be a different place. Things would run smoothly and on time. People would do what they say and say what they do. Everything would be fair, without all the small talk. And banks would only sell you what you need. When a banker looked at a client, they wouldn’t just see a number, they’d see a dad or a mom or a graduate or a business owner. Our Bankers understand the complexities of people’s lives and offer simple solutions.

That's the basics of Relationships. Fairness. Simplicity®. When you choose our Company, you have an opportunity to make an impact beyond the walls of our buildings.

Through our banking relationships, investing, grants, and volunteerism, NBH Bank promotes the growth, revitalization and sustainability of the communities we serve. As a Digital Business Analyst II, you will be responsible for supporting the bank’s Finxact core (Fiserv’s cloud-native, API-first, real-time platform) and Savana, a digital banking platform that connects to the core to deliver user-friendly operational support for back-office teams. The role also supports the money movement services that connect to the core, including ACH, wires, billpay, debit cards, and mobile deposit. You will translate business needs into product configurations, API integrations, and process changes across deposits, lending, money movement, and the ledger. You’ll work independently on moderately complex initiatives and partner with an application architect on core configuration needs.
As a Digital Business Analyst II, you will have an opportunity to elicit and document business and functional requirements, including BRDs, user stories and acceptance criteria, for Finxact and Savana setup, enhancements and integrations. You will define and validate configuration for deposit and loan products, such as rates, fees, interest accrual, transaction codes and GL mapping. You will also partner with Product to shape the roadmap for new Finxact and Savana features, assessing feasibility and sizing the impact on core configuration, APIs and downstream systems. You will write test scenarios, run end-to-end testing across channels and manage defects to closure. Along the way, you will work with Fiserv/Finxact teams, internal developers and integration vendors on change requests, test environment management and release cycles. When production issues arise, you will troubleshoot, perform root-cause analysis and recommend permanent fixes. You will produce operational reporting on deposit, lending and money movement activity to support decision-making and identify process improvements. You will maintain requirements, configuration and procedure documentation and support associate training, and you will communicate status, risks and dependencies to project managers and stakeholders. You will also perform other duties as assigned.

- Experience with Savana, or a comparable digital banking or process orchestration platform (nCino, Pega, Alkami, Backbase, Apiture) that connects to a core, with the ability to learn quickly
- Understanding of bank operations (account servicing, exceptions, reconciliations, disputes, month-end closing) gained in an operations, branch, or back-office setting
- Working knowledge of APIs, including reading OpenAPI/Swagger specs, interpreting JSON payloads, and testing with Postman or similar tools
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture, microservices, and cloud concepts (AWS/Azure)
