About the role.
We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, Global FP&A, to join McCain’s Global Financial Planning & Analysis team. Reporting to the Director, Global FP&A, this role plays an important part in supporting McCain’s consolidated financial planning, forecasting, and performance reporting processes across the global organization.
The Senior Financial Analyst provides analytical support for financial plans, forecasts, and actual results, helping ensure accuracy, transparency, and a deep understanding of the key drivers impacting business performance. Working closely with regional finance teams and business partners across the organization, this role supports the analysis of key financial metrics across the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow, while contributing to the advancement of reporting automation and finance transformation initiatives.
What you’ll be doing.
Provide analytical support for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, identifying key performance drivers, risks, and opportunities across the global business.
Support the consolidation of global financial plans, including annual operating commitments, quarterly forecasts, and long-term strategic plans.
Partner with regional and country finance teams to gather business insights, validate assumptions, and monitor forecast performance.
Assist in the planning and analysis of global functions, identifying and communicating performance trends and key business drivers.
Develop and consolidate balance sheet and cash flow forecasts, including consolidated adjustments and financial reporting requirements.
Produce and analyze consolidated financial metrics and KPIs, including measures such as ROIC, RONA, and other key performance indicators.
Support the preparation of executive presentations, Board materials, quarterly business reviews, and ad hoc financial analyses for senior leadership, including the CFO, CEO, and Global FP&A leadership team.
Develop and maintain standardized reporting templates and planning tools to improve consistency and efficiency across regions.
Provide support to regional finance teams throughout planning, forecasting, and consolidation processes.
Contribute to the implementation of automated reporting solutions and finance process improvements using analytics, AI-enabled tools, and digital technologies.
Support continuous improvement initiatives that simplify reporting, enhance insights, and strengthen financial planning capabilities across the organization.
- What you’ll need to be successful.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
- CPA designation and/or MBA preferred.
Minimum 4 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, or a related finance function.
Strong technical and analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and consolidation processes.
Solid understanding of financial analysis concepts, including margin analysis, return on investment (ROI), discounted cash flow (DCF), and capital investment evaluation.
Working knowledge of balance sheet, cash flow, and income statement analysis.
Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
Experience with enterprise planning and reporting tools; exposure to OneStream is considered an asset.
Experience with Power BI, reporting automation, AI tools, or other digital finance technologies is considered an asset.
Understanding of foreign currency reporting and global financial consolidation processes.
Strong business acumen with the ability to explain the story behind the numbers and provide actionable recommendations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience supporting executive-level reporting and presentations.
Strong relationship-building, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and thrive in a dynamic, changing environment.
Consumer packaged goods (CPG), food, manufacturing, or related industry experience is considered an asset.
Fluency in an additional language such as Spanish, French, or Mandarin is considered an asset.

The Global FP&A team partners with regional finance teams and senior business leaders across McCain to deliver financial planning, performance management, forecasting, reporting, and strategic insights that support informed decision-making. The team is responsible for consolidating enterprise-wide financial results and plans, developing key performance metrics, supporting executive and Board reporting, and driving continuous improvement through automation and analytics.
As part of the Global FP&A organization, this role works closely with finance teams around the world and contributes to strengthening McCain’s financial planning capabilities, reporting processes, and data-driven decision-making culture.

Compensation Package: $81,600.00 - $108,900.00 . CAD annually + Bonus Eligibility
