ABOUT THE TEAM
Anduril Industries is a defense technology company on a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities. By applying the technology and business model of today’s most innovative companies to defense, we are changing how military systems are designed, built, and sold—powered by Lattice OS, our AI-driven operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a real-time, 3D command-and-control center. Anduril’s Battlespace Awareness (BA) division builds next-generation ground-based radars, airborne radars, and tracking software. This role partners with program management, operations, and business line leadership to translate business activity into revenue, COGS, and margin on the P&L.
ABOUT THE JOB
This role is at the Financial Analyst II level. Supporting the Battlespace Awareness business line, your primary focus will be owning Estimate at Complete (EAC) and Estimate to Complete (ETC) forecasts across a portfolio of radar development and production contracts. Because most BA revenue is recognized over time against the EAC, forecast accuracy directly drives reported revenue and margin. You will also own IRAD financial management and support P&L forecasting, partnering with Program Managers, Engineering, Operations, and Accounting to explain performance and flag risk early. We are looking for someone with curiosity and drive to take on additional scope as they grow into and beyond the responsibilities outlined below.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Partner with Program Managers to develop and maintain monthly EAC/ETC forecasts and budget baselines, ensuring EAC integrity from award through closeout.
- Lead recurring EAC reviews, documenting the drivers of each change (labor, material, subcontract, schedule, scope) and its impact on revenue and margin.
- Monitor contract margins against baseline and explain cost and schedule variances.
- Own rolling monthly forecasts and support P&L forecasting by contract and business line.
- Own IRAD budget tracking and reporting, and drive charging discipline across contract and IRAD codes.
- Support month-end close with Accounting, reviewing contract actuals and confirming revenue aligns with contract performance.
- Deliver monthly management reporting and variance analysis, including QBR inputs and leadership data calls.
- Support pricing and proposals, long range planning, and ad hoc projects.
- Build reports and dashboards in FP&A and BI tools and improve EAC and reporting workflows.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-5 years of experience as a financial analyst or in a related finance/accounting role.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
