Job Summary

The Business Analyst will be responsible for analysis and reporting related to Bechtel’s global lease portfolio as well as budget development and reporting within Bechtel's shared services and Corporate Facilities organization. The Business Analyst will receive daily guidance from and report to the Corporate Facilities and Business Manager.

Major Responsibilities

• The individual in this position will lead lease administration activities using Bechtel’s Lease Administration Support Tool (BLAST) to ensure accurate reporting and support of lease accounting requirements.
• The individual will support activities related to Bechtel’s space management tool (OfficeSpace) in managing occupancy and reporting requirements.
• This position will assist teams within Bechtel’s shared service organization in the development of budgets, in addition to leading budget development for offices and properties managed by Corporate Facilities.
• This position is also responsible for working with historical cost and forecast data from various financial systems to provide analysis and assist in the preparation of presentation materials to management regarding the status of overhead budgets.
• The individual will also be responsible for gathering financial and transaction volume metrics used for management reporting, analysis and other decision-making purposes.

Education and Experience Requirements

Requires a Bachelor degree in Accounting or Business Administration with at least 2 years of Accounting, Business management, Project Controls experience.

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Able to efficiently organize work activities to meet deadlines.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with others in a dynamic team environment.

• Self-starter able to use sound business judgment in carrying out assigned tasks.

• Detail oriented with excellent analytical skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Copilot, and Cowork.

• Demonstrated knowledge related to financial reports and their content.
