About the Role

We are seeking a Plant Financial Analyst to support manufacturing operations in Chelmsford, MA, with a focus on ADFED operations. In this role, you will connect manufacturing and financial data to broader business needs, helping leaders understand performance, identify improvement opportunities, and make informed decisions that strengthen efficiency, profitability, and execution. You will collaborate across functions to support analytics, reporting, and process improvements that contribute to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Analysis: Gather, analyze, reconcile, and interpret data to generate insights and support business and operational decision-making.

Recurring Reporting: Perform weekly data and reporting activities with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Performance Monitoring: Prepare regular reports and dashboards to track key metrics, trends, and business performance.

Close Support: Support the integrity and effective use of production applications and dashboards during monthly and quarterly close through disciplined checklist execution.

Process Improvement: Identify and support opportunities to improve reporting processes, data quality, and team efficiency.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with team members and business stakeholders to develop and implement automation and analytics solutions.

Must Have Skills

Analytical Capability: Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions.

Financial Acumen: Foundational knowledge of financial analysis, reporting, and business performance measures.

Data Tools: Experience working with data visualization, reporting, and analytics tools to support business insights.

Excel Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and proficiency across the Microsoft Office Suite.

Communication: Ability to present complex information clearly and effectively to different stakeholders.

Collaboration and Ownership: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team, with a proactive mindset toward continuous improvement.

Preferred Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and 2+ years of related experience.

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in financial analysis.
  • Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Experience with data visualization and data modeling tools.
  • Experience with SAP is a plus.

Experience with QlikView, Tableau, Power BI, Power Query, or similar business intelligence tools.

  • Experience with SQL, BigQuery, or other database query languages is a plus.
  • Experience supporting project management or continuous improvement initiatives is a plus.

Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.

This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
