Weave (YC W25) is building the definitive platform for understanding and improving how engineering teams work. We believe the way engineering output is measured today is fundamentally broken and that modern AI can give teams a far more accurate and actionable view of productivity, impact and collaboration.
Trusted by 200+ customers such as Robinhood, Rho, PostHog and Browserbase, we've delivered consistent double-digit month-over-month revenue growth since May and are looking to accelerate our growth.
As Weave's Customer Success Manager, you'll own everything that happens after a customer signs. You'll get customers live fast, turn Weave into a weekly habit for their engineering managers, and make sure every account renews and grows.
We've raised a $13.5 million Series A and are backed by Standard Capital, Y Combinator, Moonfire, Burst Capital, IrregEx and the Agent Fund.
This is a rare opportunity to join at the ground floor and shape how millions of engineers and leaders understand engineering work.
WHAT WE'RE BUILDING
Weave is rethinking engineering output from first principles.
We use AI to:
- Understand how engineers actually work (not just what they ship)
- Surface meaningful insights about productivity, quality, collaboration and impact
- Help teams improve outcomes without vanity metrics or surveillance
Today that means two products: the Weave platform, which shows engineering leaders how AI is changing their team's output, quality and token spend, and the open-source Weave Router, which routes each coding-agent prompt to the right model based on cost, speed and quality.
THE TEAM YOU'LL WORK WITH
You'll work directly with:
- Adam (CEO): leads sales and customer discovery. Adam is a former sales executive at multiple high-growth startups who has scaled multiple sales teams from $0 to $30M in ARR, and he stays deeply embedded with customers.
- Andrew (CTO): previously a founding engineer at Causal, MIT alum. Andrew is deeply committed to mentorship and ownership for everyone on the team, and will be your closest partner on getting more technical fast.
You'll also work side by side with our sales team and engineers every day.
This is a small, intense, highly collaborative team. You will have real ownership from day one.
THE ROLE
This isn't a traditional customer success role. You'll be as comfortable debugging an integration as you are running a renewal call. The closest thing we can describe it as is a mashup of account manager, solutions engineer and data analyst.
Every customer buys Weave to answer some version of the same question: "is AI actually making our engineering team better, and is it worth what we're spending?" Your job is to make sure they get an answer they trust, and then act on it.
You'll own a book of our largest accounts from kickoff to renewal, from fast-growing startups to public companies like Robinhood. You'll also build the onboarding and automation that covers every other customer. You'll be measured on whether customers stay, whether usage spreads from the leader who bought Weave to the managers who run their teams with it every week, and whether accounts grow.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Get customers live fast. Run onboarding end to end, from connecting GitHub and AI tools like Claude Code and Cursor to their first executive report.
- Drive adoption past the buyer. Train engineering managers and tech leads until Weave is part of their 1:1s, sprint reviews and planning.
- Be the expert on the data. Help customers read their metrics, run business reviews on what changed, and dig in when a number looks wrong.
- Own renewals and expansion. Track account health, find the next champion when one leaves, and partner with sales to grow accounts.
- Close the loop with engineering. Triage and reproduce issues, write bug reports engineers can act on, and bring customer patterns back to the roadmap.
- Build the playbook. Onboarding checklists, health scores and help docs, automated wherever possible.
QUALIFICATIONS
MUST-HAVE
- 2+ years in a post-sale, customer-facing role at a B2B SaaS company: customer success, account management, implementation, solutions or support.
- You've owned a book of business. You were measured on renewals, retention or expansion, and you can walk us through your numbers and the accounts you saved.
- You're technical enough to unblock customers. You don't need to have been an engineer, but you know how software teams ship (PRs, code review, CI/CD, incidents), you're at home in GitHub, and when an integration breaks, you dig in before you escalate.
- You use AI tools every day. Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or similar are part of how you work, and you have real opinions about what they're good at.
- You write and speak clearly. You can walk a CTO through a messy dataset in a few minutes, and write the follow-up that gets everyone aligned.
- Self-starter who's comfortable in ambiguity and wired for speed.
- This role is 5 days in office in SF
NICE-TO-HAVE
- Hands-on technical experience. You've worked as a software engineer, support engineer, solutions engineer or forward deployed engineer, or you've shipped code as part of your job.
- You can write SQL or a quick Python script to answer your own questions.
- Customer success experience at a developer tools, data or AI company where your users were engineers
- Real opinions on DORA, SPACE and DevEx, and on what changes when agents write half the code
- You've built customer success from zero: onboarding programs, health scores, QBR templates, help docs
- Experience at an early-stage startup (Seed to Series B)
WHY JOIN
- $120K-$150K base salary + early equity
- Health/vision/dental insurance covered
- Free lunch/dinners/snacks
- Yearly team offsite with regular team events
- Yearly $500 learning/development stipend
- Get to work in SF with one of the fastest moving teams (99th percentile code output)
ABOUT THE INTERVIEW
- 15-minute intro call
- 30-minute culture interview with our CEO, Adam
- 30-minute conversation with our CTO, Andrew, on how engineering teams work
- Run a business review: we'll share a sample customer's Weave data, and you'll walk us through it in 20 minutes as you would with their VP of Engineering
- 2-3 day paid work trial in our SF office
