Operating with minimal supervision, the SEA exercises a high degree of independence, judgement, discretion, initiative and attention to detail. The role proactively manages complex and competing priorities, including executive calendars, inboxes, meeting coordination, complex travel arrangements and correspondence with senior internal and external stakeholders.

The opportunity

Supporting two Senior Managing Directors, the Senior Executive Assistant (SEA) provides proactive, high-level executive support to the leaders of Sustainable Investing and Global Strategy and coordinates administrative activities across both departments.

The role proactively manages complex and competing priorities, including executive calendars, inboxes, meeting coordination, complex travel arrangements and correspondence with senior internal and external stakeholders.

Who you’ll work with

You will report to the Senior Managing Director, Global Strategy, while providing executive support to the Senior Managing Directors leading Sustainable Investing and Global Strategy. Working across the Strategy & Stakeholder Relations (SSR) division, you will partner closely with the Global Strategy and Sustainable Investing teams, SSR administrative colleagues, and internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

What you’ll do

  • Extensive calendar management for the senior executives
  • Review and prioritize incoming correspondence for the senior executive
  • Manage executive travel arrangements
  • Draft senior executive correspondence, as required
  • Prepare meeting materials and coordinate agendas
  • Prepare monthly expense reports
  • Process and record invoices
  • Develop, edit and finalize executive presentations
  • Plan and coordinate offsite meetings and team events
  • Greet visitors and answer general inquiries

Arrange for catering for meetings and events

Represent the senior leaders with a high degree of professionalism to internal or external senior executives

  • Provide support outside of regular business hours when required
  • Provide back-up support for the divisional executive assistants during absences

What you'll need

A minimum of 10 years of administrative assistance support, ideally supporting senior executives

Excellent MS Office Skills: Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines

Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgement, discretion and initiative when handling confidential and sensitive matters

Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills, with a proactive approach and the confidence to work independently, engaging effectively with senior internal and external stakeholders

What we’re offering

Pay-for-performance with base salary and annual incentive based on individual and enterprise performance. The Base Salary range for this level is as follows: $75,000 - $120,000. Individual compensation and placement of this role in the range is based on different factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, demonstrated competencies, and internal equity as they relate to the role.
