About the Role

The HR Generalist provides comprehensive human resources support for plant employees through the administration of HR programs, policies, and procedures. This role serves as a key employee resource, supporting employee engagement, benefits administration, leave management, payroll-related activities, compliance, and employee recordkeeping. The HR Generalist partners with employees and management to promote a positive workplace experience while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable employment regulations.

How You Will Make an Impact

Serve as a primary point of contact for employees, responding to HR-related inquiries and directing employees to appropriate resources as needed.

Administer and support a broad range of human resources programs and services, including talent acquisition, onboarding, compensation and benefits, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance initiatives.

Coordinate and administer leave of absence programs, including Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accommodations, and short-term and long-term disability programs.

Maintain knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.

Process employee lifecycle transactions and maintain accurate personnel records, including recruiting, onboarding, attendance, leave, and paid time off information.

Generate, analyze, and maintain reports related to payroll, employee incentives, benefits, attendance, and other HR metrics.

Participate in HR projects, audits, process improvement initiatives, and other activities that support business and organizational objectives.

  • The Essentials

Associate’s degree or equivalent professional qualifications

2+ years of experience in human resources; experience in a manufacturing setting is a plus.

  • Experience working with Dayforce or other HRIS is a plus
  • Must be self-motivated with outstanding decision-making skills
  • Excellent organizational and good time management skills
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
