Working closely with leaders, team members, and HR colleagues, this role strengthens day-to-day HR service delivery, promotes a positive workplace culture, and helps ensure people practices align with organizational needs and company values. Job Goals: Provide timely, professional, and consistent HR support to team members and leaders. Support effective team member relations, performance management, attendance, and workplace expectation processes. Maintain accurate team member records and HR documentation and support compliance requirements. Promote a positive team member experience through engagement efforts, on-site support, and responsive service. Help maintain an organized, efficient, and productive office environment. Provide dependable backup support for recruiting, leave administration, onboarding, pre-access, and other HR operations. Job Responsibilities: Team Member Relations & Leader Support Provide team member relations support by serving as a trusted in-office resource for team members and leaders and responding to workplace concerns. Provide performance management guidance to leaders regarding performance concerns, disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, attendance issues, and workplace expectations. Respond to team member and leader inquiries in a timely and professional manner, most often in person. HR Administration & Compliance Administer and maintain team member records and HR documentation within appropriate systems. Oversee disciplinary action documentation, attendance management processes, I-9 compliance, unemployment claims administration, and related HR compliance activities. Support policy administration by promoting consistent application of company policies, practices, and employment regulations. Team Member Experience & Recruiting Support Coordinate and support workforce engagement initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture through regular interaction and on-site presence. Provide recruiting support, including interviewing, candidate evaluation, and coordination of recruiting activities. Support onboarding and pre-access processes and provide backup for leave administration and other HR operations as needed. Operational Support & Cross-Functional Collaboration Provide support for urgent after-hours requests and critical operational issues as assigned. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support timely resolution of team member and office-related matters. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Human Resources. Five years of Human Resources experience. Experience supporting multiple departments. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and an HRIS. Strong organizational, multitasking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and respond professionally to team member and leader needs. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
