The role…
The Senior HR Generalist serves as a strategic and operational partner to site leadership and employees, supporting the full spectrum of Human Resources functions. This role is responsible for driving key HR initiatives, managing complex employee relations issues, enhancing workforce engagement, and ensuring legal and policy compliance. The Senior HR Generalist will take a lead role in HR operations and serve as a mentor and resource to HR peers.
How you’ll make an impact…
Partner with leaders and employees to provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, coaching, and workplace issues while fostering a positive and engaged culture.
Ensure compliance with company policies, employment laws, and HR best practices by administering policies, managing employee relations matters, and supporting leave administration.
Support talent management initiatives through recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee development, succession planning, and workforce planning.
Leverage HR systems and workforce data to maintain accurate records, identify trends, improve processes, and support informed business decisions.
Lead and contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives while mentoring HR team members and partnering with leadership to achieve organizational goals.
What do you bring…
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
5–7 years of progressive HR experience, including direct experience in employee relations, compliance, and HR project leadership.
- Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or 24/7 operations environment preferred.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification required; SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state labor laws and regulations.
- Proven ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- High emotional intelligence, discretion, and sound judgment in handling sensitive issues.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS systems (e.g., Dayforce, Workday, SAP), and ATS platforms.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
