Reporting to the Plant Human Resources Manager, you will provide day-to-day Human Resources support for employees and supervisors at the Oakdale manufacturing facility. You will assist with staffing, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, recordkeeping, and other Human Resources processes to support plant operations. This is an onsite role at our plant location in Oakdale, CA.

Reporting to the Plant Human Resources Manager, you will provide day-to-day Human Resources support for employees and supervisors at the Oakdale manufacturing facility. You will assist with staffing, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, recordkeeping, and other Human Resources processes to support plant operations. This is an onsite role at our plant location in Oakdale, CA.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day Human Resources support for employees and supervisors within the manufacturing facility.

Assist with onboarding, offboarding, employee status changes, benefit administration, and personnel records.

Back up for payroll-related transactions, support time and attendance administration, review timecards, and help resolve payroll discrepancies.

Respond to employee questions regarding Human Resources policies, programs, benefits, and employment-related matters.

Support employee relations activities, documentation, investigations, and policy administration.

Coordinate recruiting activities, interview scheduling, new hire processing, and hiring activities including high-volume hiring and workforce administration during peak production periods.

Maintain Human Resources data, reports, and compliance documentation while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Assist with unemployment claims, equal employment opportunity programs, and other employment compliance activities.

Compile and distribute workforce metrics and Human Resources reports.

Deliver excellent customer service while building positive relationships with employees, supervisors, and business partners.

  • Bachelor's degree required.

1+ years of Human Resources or related experience preferably in a large food manufacturing environment with multiple shifts.

  • Knowledge of employment laws, labor laws, and Human Resources practices.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Experience maintaining confidential information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS Systems.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred.

Physical Requirements

When visiting these sites, the physical requirements below may apply: You may be required to walk around the facility, climb stairs/ladders, kneel, or perform repetitive tasks that require hand-eye coordination. You may be required to lift or carry materials that can vary in weight and size. This is a manufacturing environment with large, moving equipment. Noise levels can be high, and temperatures may vary.

  • Pay Range:$59,000-$79,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
