Fosters the development of staff at all levels in the organization Maintains updated Employee Handbook, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations related to human resources Maintain accurate and updated files for all benefits, unemployment, LOA requests, worker’s comp claims, and any other areas required Handles employee relations, counseling and supports branch leadership with staff performance matters Review all terminations to ensure compliance with termination and off-boarding procedures Assist department in training development and design of new systems to streamline HR processes Serves as a back-up for payroll Ensure compliance to established procedures, policies, and safety standards. Carry out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical and professional manner Remain current with employment laws and regulations.
