Opening a business account is only the beginning. The real value comes when operating activity moves; payroll, receivables, payables, and funding. When those flows transition, deposits follow and the relationship becomes primary. Onsetto’s platform seamlessly guides businesses through the process of switching their operating account while giving financial institutions real-time visibility into activation and funding progress. Delivered as a secure, white-label solution that operates alongside existing systems, Onsetto requires no core integration and can be implemented quickly. By helping banks activate operating relationships faster, Onsetto enables financial institutions to capture the Core Operating Account, accelerate business deposit growth, and deepen commercial relationships.

About Onsetto

At Onsetto, we're building more than technology, we're building the future of business banking.

Trusted by financial institutions across the country, Onsetto is helping banks grow deposits, win operating relationships, and transform how they serve businesses. Following $11.2 million in total seed funding, we're entering an exciting new phase of growth and looking for ambitious, entrepreneurial people who want to help shape what comes next.

Position Summary

We're looking for a highly capable, detail-oriented Marketing Manager who can independently plan, manage and execute marketing initiatives across events, content, digital channels, campaigns, sales enablement, and partner support.

This is a hands-on role requiring exceptional organizational skills, strong written communication, and the ability to manage complex details while consistently delivering high-quality work on time and with minimal oversight.

You'll work closely with leadership, Product, and Sales to turn ideas and information into effective marketing materials, campaigns, and experiences.

This role is ideal for an experienced B2B marketing generalist who enjoys taking projects from initial concept through final delivery. You'll be expected to develop plans, coordinate stakeholders, manage deadlines, solve problems, and proactively communicate progress without needing constant direction.

As Onsetto continues to grow, you'll help establish the processes, standards, and resources that allow our marketing function to scale.

This is a hybrid position based in Columbus, OH.

What You’ll Do

Own Marketing Execution End-to-End

  • Own assigned marketing initiatives from concept through completion, including planning, execution, quality control, and final delivery.
  • Translate established product positioning and value propositions into clear, compelling, consistent messaging used to sell Onsetto to banks and support banks in marketing Onsetto's products to businesses.
  • Turn ideas into polished, ready-to-use deliverables quickly and independently.
  • Develop actionable project plans with clear timelines, milestones, owners, and deliverables.
  • Anticipate what needs to happen next, proactively address obstacles, and ensure projects move forward without requiring repeated follow-up.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and results clearly and consistently to the Head of Marketing and relevant stakeholders.

Event & Conference Planning and Execution

  • Independently own the planning and execution of assigned banking industry conferences and events, with comprehensive attention to details including timelines, budgets, materials, shipping, I&D, electrical, internet/Wi-Fi, and logistical dependencies
  • Manage the procurement, shipment, delivery, and return of booth materials, promotional items, and marketing collateral
  • Anticipate logistical risks, resolve issues proactively, and develop practical contingency plans
  • Provide conference attendees with clear, complete instructions and ensure they have everything needed for polished and professional participation
  • Support follow-up efforts and maximize value from each event
  • Maintain comprehensive conference checklists and project plans, ensuring all exhibitor requirements, vendor deadlines, sponsorship deliverables, and logistical dependencies are completed on time
  • Coordinate pre-conference outreach, event promotions, and post-conference marketing campaigns in partnership with Sales
  • Manage event lead capture coordination, CRM updates, and follow-up workflows to help maximize pipeline opportunities from each event
  • Evaluate event performance and identify opportunities to improve execution, efficiency, and return on investment

Content & Brand Presence

  • Work directly with the Product team to understand Onsetto's capabilities, features, functionality, and customer value propositions
  • Translate technical and product information into clear, compelling, and accurate marketing communications for commercial and small business banking audiences.
  • Write website content, LinkedIn content, product announcements, presentations, one-pagers, case studies, whitepapers, email campaigns, social media posts, and other marketing materials
  • Verify factual accuracy with appropriate internal subject matter experts before publishing or distributing content
  • Manage and maintain a consistent, high-quality brand presence by proofreading and leveraging consistent product terminology, positioning, and brand voice across marketing communications
  • Develop thought leadership pieces, case studies, and industry content
  • Identify opportunities to get Onsetto featured in relevant publications and industry outlets

Digital Marketing

  • Develop and execute digital marketing initiatives across Onsetto's website, LinkedIn, email, and other relevant channels
  • Maintain and update website content to reflect current product capabilities, messaging, and company developments.
  • Create and coordinate digital campaigns that support awareness, lead generation, partner engagement, and business development
  • Own the execution of assigned marketing campaigns, including audience coordination, content development, scheduling, deployment, and performance tracking.
  • Develop and manage pre- and post-conference email campaigns, lead nurturing communications, and targeted outreach initiatives in coordination with Sales.
  • Maintain an organized marketing campaign calendar and ensure communications are launched accurately and on schedule.
  • Develop and maintain marketing assets using tools such as Canva, Figma, or similar platforms
  • Ensure visual and written consistency across digital and printed materials
  • Track campaign performance, engagement, and other relevant marketing metrics

Support and Enable Bank Partners

  • Equip bank partners with the tools and materials they need to successfully market and introduce Onsetto's products to their business customers.
  • Customize and refine materials for specific partners when needed
  • Act as a reliable, detail-oriented resource for ongoing partner marketing needs
  • Ensure consistency, clarity, and quality across all partner-facing materials

Marketing Operations & Execution

  • Organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy
  • Build and maintain workflows, timelines, and internal processes
  • Track budgets and ensure efficient use of marketing spend
  • Create diagrams, flowcharts, and structured materials to communicate ideas clearly
  • Identify gaps, anticipate needs, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks

Required Experience & Skills

This role is for a doer, someone who can take ownership of a wide range of responsibilities and execute at a high level. Successful candidates for this role will have the following:

  • 5 - 10 years of experience in marketing, event marketing, marketing operations, or a related role
  • Demonstrated experience planning and executing conferences, trade shows, or comparable business events, including responsibility for detailed logistics and vendor coordination

  • An extremely detail-oriented approach, taking pride in high-quality, polished work
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, anticipate needs, solve problems proactively, and consistently follow through on commitments.
  • Strong stakeholder communication skills, including the ability to provide clear status updates, manage expectations, and escalate issues with recommended solutions.
  • Ability to learn technical products quickly and communicate their business value accurately and effectively.

Preferred Experience

  • Banking, fintech, or financial services
  • B2B SaaS or other technology-driven industries
  • Canva, Figma, or similar design tools
  • Monday.com or similar project management tools
  • Creating marketing and sales collateral
  • Writing for business or industry audiences
  • Working with external partners or clients
  • CRM platforms and email marketing automation tools.
  • Developing pre- and post-event campaigns, lead nurturing programs, and sales enablement content.
  • Working in a startup or high-growth environment with changing priorities and broad responsibilities.

You Might Be a Great Fit If You

  • Can move between design, writing, planning, and execution seamlessly
  • Like building things from scratch and improving them over time
  • Take initiative and follow through without needing constant direction
  • Care deeply about details, presentation, and doing things the right way
  • Are someone others can confidently hand a project to, knowing you'll take responsibility for getting it done.
  • Naturally think several steps ahead, identify what might be missing, and take action before being asked.
  • Enjoy creating high-quality work yourself rather than solely coordinating others to do it.
  • Know how to prioritize competing deadlines and communicate early when something needs attention.

What Success Looks Like in Your First 90 Days

Within your first 90 days, you'll be expected to:

  • Develop a strong working understanding of Onsetto's products, customers, positioning, and marketing priorities.
  • Independently manage assigned marketing projects with clear timelines, consistent communication, and reliable follow-through.
  • Take ownership of conference planning and logistical coordination, ensuring requirements, materials, vendors, and deadlines are properly managed.
  • Develop high-quality marketing content, presentations, and collateral that require minimal revision before final delivery.
  • Execute assigned email and digital marketing campaigns in coordination with Sales and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate, current project plans and proactively communicate progress, risks, and next steps.
  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing workflows and begin implementing practical solutions.

Success in this role means becoming a trusted marketing partner who can take ownership of important initiatives, deliver polished work, and consistently move projects forward without requiring constant oversight.
