About the Company
We build and run a portfolio of software products. Our own software creates most of our messaging, drives our operational efficiency, and keeps our teams aligned. We are hiring a Marketing Project Manager who uses our proprietary tools and modern AI workflows every day to orchestrate campaigns, coordinate launches, and keep our marketing machine moving fast across our entire portfolio.
The Role
You will own the velocity of how our products show up in the market. You start by managing the marketing execution for two key products. The first is a self-service B2B platform. The second is an enterprise B2B product. Both are account-based, which means our marketing must be highly targeted, hyper-coordinated, and executed flawlessly across web, email, social, and ads.
Our software and AI tools draft the project plans, timelines, and asset updates. You decide what is realistic, where the hidden bottlenecks are, and how to unblock execution. Great discernment is required: you will quickly spot when a campaign timeline is slipping, sharpen how we use our internal and agency resources, and keep the team shipping. The job rewards someone with strong operational judgment who learns tools fast and drives marketing results.
How the Role Works
You will immediately dive into the marketing vitals of our first two products. You will work directly with the founder, the VP of Operations, the Portfolio Content Marketer, and our agency specialists to audit active campaigns, build launch timelines, and establish a repeatable shipping rhythm. As the portfolio grows, you will scale your coordination systems to seamlessly onboard and launch new products and features.
What You Will Own
- Reviewing and refining the marketing project plans, campaign scopes, and launch roadmaps that our software and AI tools draft.
- Keeping every marketing asset and campaign timeline on target, realistic, and synchronized across content, outbound, and paid ads.
- Cross-functional coordination between the founder, the Portfolio Content Marketer, internal teams, and external agency specialists to ensure no ball is dropped.
- Launch planning and execution tracking for new products, new features, and major outbound campaigns.
- Resource and campaign budget tracking across the portfolio, ensuring cost-efficiency and flagging constraints to the VP of Operations before they cause delays.
- Monitoring campaign progress and managing the day-to-day workflow of our agencies and cold email operators to keep delivery on schedule.
- A regular feedback loop that monitors project performance data, matches it against our target account lists, and delivers clean status updates to leadership.
- Ensuring all executed assets align cleanly with the brand core, taglines, and messaging guidelines established by the CEO and Marketer.
What You Bring
- 3 to 5 years of marketing project management experience, with hands-on execution in digital marketing, B2B SaaS, or growth campaigns.
- Strong operational judgment: you can look at a campaign roadmap or an agency's timeline and immediately tell if it is realistic, structured, and worth executing.
- Comfort working with AI tools and utilizing workflows where a human operator reviews, edits, and refines AI-generated project plans and tracking data.
- The ability to manage multiple moving parts every day at a high velocity without dropping the ball on quality or details.
- Familiarity with digital marketing channels, including account-based marketing (ABM), cold email, LinkedIn outreach, paid ads, and content workflows.
- Hands-on experience with modern PM tools (e.g., Notion, Linear, Asana) or an exceptional eagerness and ability to master new tooling setups in days.
- Clear, plain writing and communication, with the ability to summarize complex campaign blockages into concise, actionable updates.
Tools You Will Use
- Our own software for drafting, checking, and optimizing operational marketing workflows.
- Modern project tracking tools (e.g., Notion, Asana) for daily campaign management and portfolio tracking.
- AI tools for drafting documentation, timelines, and status reports, with a human-in-the-loop review process.
- Communication platforms (e.g., Slack, Loom) to maintain asynchronous clarity across the marketing team and agencies.
Who You Work With
- The Founder, directly, on campaign alignment, product launch priorities, and portfolio-wide scaling.
- The Portfolio Content Marketer, daily, to keep their content creation, video clips, and outreach sequences aligned with your campaign deadlines.
- The VP of Operations, on priorities, timelines, resource allocation, and budget efficiency.
- Agency specialists and contractors, tracking their deliverables and timelines with your input on what needs to be unblocked.
Who Thrives Here
- You are hungry to build and scale marketing operations from the ground up.
- You like owning a timeline and you move aggressively when the goal is clear.
- You are highly comfortable with ambiguity and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- You take feedback well and iterate on your operational processes rapidly.
- You want to learn how a software portfolio's marketing engine is run efficiently by the leadership team.
Nice to Have
- Experience at an early-stage company or inside a fast-growing portfolio of software products.
- Familiarity with account-based marketing frameworks and tools (like Clay).
- Experience coordinating external agencies and independent marketing contractors.
How We Will Measure Success
- Week 2: Complete an operational audit of the first two products' active marketing campaigns and agency deliverables, providing a refined 45-day execution roadmap.
- Day 45: Establish a predictable, high-velocity campaign rhythm for the first product, with web, social, and outbound timelines fully synchronized.
- Day 90: Successfully scale your operational tracking to smoothly launch marketing campaigns for the second product while maintaining a 100% on-time execution rate on portfolio-wide marketing milestones.
Location and Pay
- Nashville preferred, with remote candidates considered.
- Competitive salary based on experience, plus performance bonuses.
