The Role
As the Product Marketing Manager for the Mobile Ecosystem, you will own the product definition, roadmap, and ecosystem strategy required to scale Swift’s location capabilities across global mobile platforms.
Working in a tight triad alongside Business Development, Product Management, and Engineering, you will focus on achieving product-market fit for early-stage mobile initiatives. Your mission is to drive our technology into native, device-level integrations that easily scale across hardware lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Native Integration Roadmap: Define product requirements for native, device-level activation of Swift’s positioning services via standard mobile operating system location APIs.
- Ecosystem Alignment: Partner with silicon vendors, device manufacturers, and major app developers to influence Swift’s roadmaps and ensure low-friction adoption.
- Segment Optimization: Build tailored product profiles and commercial requirements for both high-margin enterprise fleets (logistics, last-mile) and high-volume consumer mass-market devices.
- GTM Collaboration: Support the Business Development lead on technical evaluation units, early pilots, and proofs-of-concept, and the path to production with strategic global partners.
- Market Defense: Maintain an aggressive feature roadmap that outpaces proprietary alternatives and establishes Swift as the platform-neutral benchmark.
Qualifications
- Experience: 7+ years of product management and product marketing experience defining and shipping platform, deep-tech, or developer-facing products within the mobile or hardware landscape.
- Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of the mobile positioning stack, location-based services (LBS), GNSS/GPS fundamentals, and/or mobile platform location frameworks (Android/iOS APIs).
- Ecosystem Fluency: Proven ability to navigate multi-sided markets, aligning incentives between chip design, hardware manufacturing, and app development.
- Core Skills: Excellent communication skills to bridge deep technical constraints with business strategy; comfortable with ambiguity and "0-to-1" product exploration.
Perks
- Flexible vacation days, competitive salary and stock options, employer-covered health insurance, 401(k), HSA.
- Stocked kitchen in our SF office, company events, catered lunches, tech talks, and learning and development budget for every employee.
- Growth and learning opportunities from a tech company environment include working closely with an international team of scientists, engineers, platform architects, programmers, and professionals.
