About the employer
Pi Security
Secure software as fast as you build.
Pi is an agentic product security platform for organizations tired of sacrificing security for velocity, and velocity for security.

Codebases grow larger and teams grow faster, and AI-generated code adds volume and velocity no human team could match. Security stops being a function and becomes a bottleneck. The tools keep getting smarter at finding problems, but nobody has built a system that remembers them. Pi does. Fix an issue once and it stays fixed everywhere, not just in the one spot you found it. The decisions your team makes are kept and reused, so your security posture compounds with every fix instead of resetting after every incident. We believe security should only get better with time. It shouldn't degrade when an engineer leaves or a codebase scales. Every lesson your organization has ever learned should stay learned. And with Pi, it can. Secure software as fast as you build it.

About the Role
Pi is looking for a Field Marketing Manager to bring Pi to life in the rooms where our buyers gather and build the relationships that move deals forward.
This is a highly cross-functional, hands-on role. You’ll support Pi’s event programs, creating branded experiences, community events, and industry conference moments that put Pi in front of product security and application security leaders, CISOs, security engineers, and developers.
This is an individual contributor role on the marketing team, reporting to the VP of Marketing. The role is remote and must be based in the U.S. Pacific time zone, with a strong preference for a California metro area, and includes travel to events.
We’re looking for someone who is exceptionally organized, a creative thinker, close to the field, and equally comfortable designing an executive event series and rolling up their sleeves to make sure the booth ships on time.
What You'll Do
- Support regional event programs. Plan, execute, and manage a portfolio of events, including brand experiences, executive and community events, partner events, and industry-specific gatherings. Make sure every event reflects the Pi brand and ties directly to our marketing goals.
- Run events end to end. Oversee every part of planning and execution, from registration and shipping to setup, day-of support, and post-event wrap-up. You sweat the details so attendees never have to.
- Support our biggest moments. Help bring Pi to life at larger tradeshows and tentpole events. Coordinate with vendors, manage logistics, and keep the brand consistent across every touchpoint.
- Partner closely with the field. Work hand in hand with the broader Pi marketing team so event messaging and goals connect to company priorities. Support event programs that put Pi in front of the right accounts at the right time.
- Build with our partners. Manage relationships with event partners, ensuring timely execution and high-quality outcomes. Develop programs with partners that turn events into measurable results.
- Spend wisely. Manage the budget for regional events, finding cost-effective approaches without compromising the quality of the experience.
- Measure what matters. Work with Marketing Ops to track attendance, manage list uploads, and evaluate every event against clear KPIs. Share post-event reports and insights that make the next event better than the last.
- Own SWAG. Manage inventory, coordinate distribution at events, and make sure our SWAG is something people actually want to keep.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of B2B marketing experience with a focus on field marketing and events.
- Proven experience managing both small-scale, high-touch events and large-scale tradeshows.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills. You can juggle multiple events at once without dropping a detail.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with experience managing vendors, partners, and budgets.
- A creative mindset and a passion for curating experiences people remember long after the event ends.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a sharp eye for detail.
- Experience partnering closely with sales and cross-functional teams to align programs to pipeline and company goals.
- The ability to adapt to changing priorities and stay calm in high-pressure, fast-moving situations.
- Low ego and high ownership. You’re comfortable with hands-on execution, including on event day.
- Ability to travel 25% + of the time.
Why Pi
Pi Security recently emerged from stealth with a $35 million Series A led by Third Point Ventures and Brightmind Partners, with backing from leading cybersecurity investors and operators, including CrowdStrike CEO George Kurtz and Armis founders Yevgeny Dibrov and Nadir Izrael.
Founded by former Microsoft security researcher Guy Arazi and Yoni Ramon, who led offensive security work at Tesla, Pi is building an agentic Product Security platform that helps organizations secure software as fast as they build it.
Pi turns an organization’s engineering and security knowledge into institutional memory, giving teams the context to prioritize what matters, remediate vulnerabilities at the root cause and across every variant, and secure the entire software development lifecycle from design to production.
Pi is already trusted by leading AI companies and enterprise innovators, including xAI, Notion, Navan, Lemonade, and Teramind, and has expanded its ecosystem through AWS Marketplace and a strategic partnership with Bugcrowd.
As AI transforms how software is built, Pi is redefining Product Security for this new era.
You’ll join at a stage where field marketing can have an outsized impact. You’ll build alongside a humble, passionate, ambitious, and genuinely fun team that cares deeply about what we’re building and our customers.
We hire for four things, and we work this way every day:
- Speed. Velocity over polish. Something impactful this week beats a perfect plan for next quarter.
- Depth. You go past the point of requirement. That is usually where the interesting part starts anyway.
- Curiosity. The people who do best here ask the thing everyone assumed was already answered.
- Ambition. We take on assumptions this industry accepts as given, and disprove them.
Compensation & Benefits
The base salary range for this role in San Francisco is $140,000 – $180,000 per year. This is our good-faith estimate of what we expect to pay at hire. Where an offer lands depends on experience, skills, and level. Base salary is one part of total compensation, which also includes equity.
- Meaningful equity in Pi.Security
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your family, starting the 1st of the month after you join.
- Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) for health and dependent care
- Commuter benefits
- Unlimited PTO
- 401(k)
- $100/month health and wellness stipend
Equal Opportunity
Pi.Security is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applicants of all backgrounds and are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team. Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
