Help the Market Understand What Opensend Can Do
Opensend is a fast-growing identity and data enrichment platform that helps marketers identify website visitors, understand them better, and drive stronger acquisition and retention across email, SMS, advertising and analytics. We are bootstrapped, profitable, beyond USD 10 million in ARR, and serve close to 1,000 customers with a team of about 65.
We're looking for a Product Marketing Manager to join our growing team and work closely with our Director of Product Marketing. You'll help shape how we position, launch and bring our expanding product suite to market, turn complex capabilities into compelling messaging, and equip our sales and customer success teams to communicate the value of what we build.
We move quickly, launch often, and value people who combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You'll connect product innovation to market opportunity, so everything we bring to market has a clear story, a defined audience and a measurable impact on the business.
What You Will Own
- Product positioning and messaging: clear, differentiated messaging and value propositions across products, buyer personas and use cases.
- Go-to-market execution: lead product launches and GTM initiatives, from positioning and launch planning through sales readiness, adoption and performance measurement.
- Sales and customer success enablement: pitch decks, demo narratives, competitive battlecards, objection-handling guides and training that help both teams sell and grow accounts.
- Competitive intelligence and market insights: track competitors and market trends, and use customer feedback and win/loss insights to shape positioning.
- Customer storytelling: case studies, use cases and proof points that show the value of our products.
- Product adoption and expansion: messaging and enablement that help customers adopt more of the Opensend platform.
- Cross-functional marketing: partner with Product, Sales, Demand Generation and Customer Success to bring a consistent product story to campaigns, website content and partner marketing.
What Makes This Role Different
You'll make a real impact at a profitable, fast-growing SaaS company where your work directly shapes how products are positioned, launched and sold. As Opensend expands its product suite and enters new markets, you'll help shape our go-to-market strategy, not just execute it.
You'll work closely with product leaders, sales and customer success teams, and our Director of Product Marketing, with the autonomy to own initiatives, move quickly and see the impact of your work on adoption, pipeline and revenue.
What You Bring
- Five or more years in product marketing, including three or more in B2B SaaS.
- Strong positioning and messaging skills: you translate complex technical products into clear, compelling value propositions.
- Proven experience owning go-to-market strategy, from positioning and launch planning to sales enablement and adoption.
- Experience creating enablement materials that teams use, including pitch decks, competitive battlecards and product collateral.
- Strong understanding of B2B buyer journeys, customer personas, competitive landscapes and market dynamics.
- Excellent writing, storytelling and presenting skills. You can explain a technical product to technical and nontechnical audiences, and you're comfortable leading a training session or recording a video.
- Experience collaborating with Product, Sales, Demand Generation and Customer Success teams.
- An analytical, self-directed approach: you prioritize, measure impact and execute well in a fast-paced environment.
Experience That Will Help You Stand Out
- Experience in martech, adtech or data-driven marketing platforms, especially those sold to ecommerce and DTC marketers or their agencies.
- Familiarity with Shopify, Klaviyo and related marketing technology ecosystems.
- Experience launching new product lines, entering new markets or defining new product categories.
- Experience leading competitive intelligence, win/loss analysis or customer research that shaped positioning and go-to-market strategy.
- Experience at a high-growth B2B SaaS company.
You Will Probably Thrive Here If
You're a strategic thinker who enjoys rolling up your sleeves and bringing ideas to life. You're curious about customers, competitors and market dynamics, and you use what you learn to shape messaging and go-to-market strategy. You're at your best in front of a room or a camera, you thrive on cross-functional work, and you take pride in seeing your work drive measurable business results.
Compensation
United States base salary: USD 140,000 to 165,000.
Final offers reflect location and relevant experience. Equity and benefits follow the approved offer framework.
