Marketing Manager

Job Details: Job Location: Hutchinson Clinic - Hutchinson, KS, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Job Category: Admin - Clerical, Job Summary: The Marketing Manager supports all forms of communications for the Hutchinson Clinic, assisting with a range of marketing and communication activities with a goal to enhance the Clinic’s visibility within the market and community. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Designs and prepares written copy for news, radio, directories, brochures and other materials to publicize new and existing services, including marketing individual practices. Maintains records, budgets, reports and statistics as required. Attends a variety of meetings and participates on committees. Participates in planning and organizing special events, fairs, shows, meeting, workshops and programs. Supervises the updating of directories, handbooks and service listings. Designs and implements the Clinic’s public relations program to create and maintain a favorable public image. Performs related work as required. Additional Responsibilities: Create comprehensive marketing plan for presentation and approval by Board of Directors as advised. Ensure all social media content, website info, press releases and radio copy are prepared and given to the appropriate representatives prior to the deadline date. Work in a professional and knowledgeable manner with all media personnel to develop and enhance media contacts. Evaluate all Clinic materials to be used by patients or general public, to ensure accuracy and maintain a professional public image. Approve financial contributions to schools, charities, and community events that are appropriate to the professional image of our facility. Stay up to date on Clinic activities, Hutchinson business, recreation, schools and community activities to fit Clinic marketing into available community niches and being accessible in the public eye. Coordinate transportation, lodging, entertainment, along with any other activities for all site visits. Observe all Clinic policies and guidelines. Qualifications: Qualifications: Experience: Two to five years’ experience in communication and/or marketing preferably in healthcare industry. Education: Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, public relations, or related field. Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work with all levels of the organization. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Ability to build and maintain strong, positive, and influential relationships within the organization as well as throughout the Community. Experience in digital marketing. Ability to handle numerous high-priority projects simultaneously. Ability to proofread, attention to detail and handle revisions as needed. Work Environment & Physical Requirements: Work will require sitting for long periods of time while answering high call volumes. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard. Vision must be correctable to 20/20 and hearing must be in the normal range for telephone contacts. Work is performed in a call center environment, - indoors with regular noise from coworkers taking calls. Work may require sitting for long periods of time; also stooping, bending, and stretching for files and supplies.
