TrafficTickets.com helps drivers in New York and New Jersey get legal help with traffic tickets. We’re looking for a Marketing Manager who can build an expert-driven content program, grow our organic channels, and move new marketing initiatives forward.
A major focus of this role is creating a repeatable content system built around interviews with knowledgeable people in the traffic ticket space, including attorneys, former police officers, and former judges. You’ll turn their expertise into useful website content and recorded segments for social media.
You should bring strong experience in social media and organic growth, along with the ability to manage freelancers and agencies. You’ll report to our Chief Growth Officer and work closely with attorneys, intake, freelancers, and agency partners. This is a hands-on role, but you won’t be expected to produce every piece of content yourself. You’ll be responsible for organizing the work, managing outside support, and delivering results.
What you’ll do
Build an expert content program
- Develop a repeatable process for identifying experts, planning interviews, recording sessions, and publishing content.
- Coordinate interviews with attorneys, former police officers, former judges, and other knowledgeable voices in the traffic ticket space.
- Turn those interviews into articles, expert commentary, FAQs, and other content for TrafficTickets.com.
- Repurpose recordings into short videos and other social media content.
- Hire and manage content and video freelancers to help coordinate interviews, develop content, and keep the publishing process moving. Help set and manage budget for content production.
- Maintain an editorial calendar and coordinate attorney review for accuracy and compliance.
Grow social media and organic reach
- Build an engaged following through useful content that answers drivers’ questions and makes traffic law easier to understand.
- Develop and test content ideas, hooks, and formats across relevant platforms.
- Work with creators and freelancers to produce and distribute content consistently.
- Track which content generates engagement, qualified traffic, leads, and signed clients.
Oversee paid search and conversion
- Manage our paid search agencies, including campaign priorities, budgets, messaging, landing pages, and performance.
- Review results with a focus on lead quality, cost per signed client, and return on spend.
- Work with agency partners and freelancers to test landing pages, forms, and messaging to improve conversion.
- Collaborate with intake to understand common questions, objections, and why prospects do or don’t hire us.
What we’re looking for
- A track record of growing social media or organic content channels with measurable business results.
- Experience building a repeatable content production process, ideally using expert interviews, video, and written content.
- Strong editorial judgment and the ability to turn complex information into clear, engaging content.
- Experience hiring and managing freelancers and holding agency partners accountable.
- Experience overseeing paid search and evaluating performance beyond clicks and impressions.
- Familiarity with landing page testing, analytics, CRM data, and call tracking.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to move work forward independently.
- Experience with CallTrackingMetrics and ActiveCampaign, or comparable platforms.
Experience with PR, corporate marketing, referral programs, email marketing, connected TV, or digital radio is a plus. Legal industry experience is helpful but not required.
What Success Looks Like
Success in this role means understanding how drivers look for legal help after receiving a traffic ticket and building marketing strategies that turn that need into qualified leads and signed clients.
Key priorities include creating a repeatable expert content program, developing an organic social media strategy that grows our audience, and working with our paid search agency to improve campaign and landing page performance. You’ll also explore new acquisition channels and identify opportunities to improve the customer journey.
We expect this person to take ownership of their initiatives, manage freelancers and agency partners, and use performance data to improve results.
Initial priorities will be established collaboratively during onboarding and may evolve based on business needs, performance data, and opportunities identified.
