ABOUT ROCKET MONEY 🔮
Rocket Money’s mission is to meaningfully improve the financial prosperity of millions.
We’re at the forefront of a seismic change. Traditional personal financial management is being transformed in the age of AI, and we’re building for what comes next: an exciting, ever-changing future of agentic financial management, including Rowan by Rocket Money, our AI-powered financial assistant, and offerings like High-Yield Savings and partnerships across the Rocket family that help members save more and build stronger financial futures.
ABOUT THE TEAM 🤝
You’ll be embedded with our Financial Product, Partnerships and Pathway pod. The pod helps members save money and build stronger financial futures through a variety of offerings, including High-Yield Savings and strategic partnerships with fellow Rocket companies Rocket Loans and Rocket Mortgage.
This is a new role, and you’ll help define what product marketing looks like for the team. You’ll work side by side with Product, Design, Engineering, Operations, Fraud, and CRM, to bring your launches and messaging to life across channels, so together we pull the right levers to drive outcomes.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL
- Be a true partner to Product. Work alongside them from the earliest stages to shape the right offerings, influence what gets built and prioritized, and make sure what we ship is marketable and compelling.
- Take offerings to market. Lead launch planning and execution that drives adoption and member success, and help build the product marketing function as you go.
- Craft the story and arm the org to tell it. Turn member insights, pain points, and competitive context into sharp narratives, marketing strategies, and content that make people want what we’re building, and equip Marketing with the messaging and insights to bring it to market.
- Partner with the CRM Manager to decide which levers to pull, with which members, and when. Turn launch plans into lifecycle programs and learn from the results together.
- Work hand in hand with Rocket Loans and Rocket Mortgage to make "one Rocket" real for members, from co-marketing to launches that feel like one experience.
- Understand our members and measure what matters. Use data and research to find which members need which offering, and define success for every launch around adoption, deposits and AUM across our savings and investment products, and retention. Share what you learn with senior leaders and partner teams in a way they remember and act on.
ABOUT YOU 🦄
- 6-8 years in product marketing, ideally launching consumer financial products or features.
- You’ve taken launches from positioning to results, not just written the copy.
- Experience in financial products or a related space, such as fintech, banking, lending, or mortgage. You’re comfortable writing about money in a way that’s clear, compliant, and builds trust.
- You have a curious mind and a passion for experimentation. You test messages and positioning, then turn what you learn into your next move.
- You experiment with AI tools and have built them into your workflow to work faster and smarter.
- You’re a self-starter who thrives when the path isn’t fully mapped, and you’re excited to build a function from the ground up.
- You work well across teams and move fast, partnering with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Fraud, as well as with partners outside your own company.
- Bonus: You’re in the NYC area and can come into the office 1-3 days a week, though there is no formal in-office requirement.
WE OFFER 💫
The opportunity to contribute to a rapidly changing industry, to learn and grow alongside a team of talented marketers, and to have fun.
