About the employer
Zuora
Zuora was born out of a vision that we could evangelize a fundamentally new way of doing business by shifting the focus of companies to deliver recurring, people-centric services instead of a one-time sale of products. This is how we coined the term, the Subscription Economy®.

Today, we see others evangelizing this term, and building entire communities around it. The Subscription Economy isn’t (and never was) just about subscription business models but, direct, recurring relationships with customers through any business model. Subscriptions were only just scratching the surface and now, the market recognizes the Subscription Economy for what it truly is-a relationship-centric economy. Companies have realized that the path to growth going forward is to establish direct, digital relationships with their customers, and to nurture and monetize these relationships through an ever growing set of digital services. Alongside this evolution, Zuora has been there every step of the way. We started with Zuora Billing, and have expanded our award-winning multi-product portfolio to include Zuora Revenue, Zuora Payments and Zuora Platform. More recently, we’ve added Zephr and Togai to our family, further expanding our capabilities to serve as an intelligent hub that monetizes the complete quote to cash and revenue recognition process at scale. We call this Monetization.

About Zuora
At Zuora, we help businesses grow smarter and adapt faster. Our platform powers modern business models — from subscriptions and usage-based pricing to AI-driven and outcome-based offerings — helping companies launch new products, automate complex billing, and unlock predictable, recurring revenue.
We’ve led the Subscription Economy for more than a decade. Now we’re evolving again by building the definitive platform for quote to cash and helping companies monetize their products and services with an adaptable, AI-ready foundation.
The Opportunity
As an AI Product Manager, you will own the strategy, roadmap, and outcomes for a set of employee-facing Enterprise AI products. That includes a modern, self-service AI learning experience and AI agentic applications and autonomous agents. You will partner with AI Solutions Engineers, release managers, and business leaders to deliver those products, and you will own the training, enablement, and messaging that make them land. You are a PM who can also teach, write, and tell the story.
What You’ll Do
Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Define the vision, roadmap, and success measures for your products, aligned to Enterprise AI and Corporate Operations OKRs.
- Translate ZEO needs into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Prioritize your backlog using impact, effort, risk, and data, and make trade-offs visible to stakeholders.
Discovery & User Insight
- Run continuous discovery with ZEOs and functional leaders: interviews, surveys, usage and ticket data, and champion feedback.
- Understand what ZEOs need to learn, how they want to learn, and where AI creates value in their work.
- Map workflows, run pilots and experiments, and use the results to decide what to build, change, or retire.
Delivery & Execution
- Work with AI Solutions Engineers, architects, and vendors in an agile model to ship increments on a predictable cadence.
- Coordinate dependencies with Security, Legal, Data, HR, and Finance so delivery is safe and on time.
- Manage releases of your products from intake through retirement, and keep a clear, current backlog.
Training & Enablement for Your Products
- Own training and enablement for every product you ship: guides, demos, FAQs, live sessions, office hours, and role-based learning paths.
- Build and run a self-service AI learning experience that uses modern formats such as short video, interactive walkthroughs, prompt and skill libraries.
- Deliver build-enablement for ZEOs who create agents, covering agent design basics, testing, and safe use of data and connectors within approved guardrails.
- Recruit, equip, and recognize AI champions, and use them to bring feedback and use cases back to the product team.
Messaging & Communications
- Write and own the messaging for your products and for company-wide AI updates, including launches, guidance, policy and governance changes, and wins.
- Obsess over the right words, audience, and timing. Make complex technical and policy changes clear, accurate, and human.
- Communicate roadmap, status, and trade-offs clearly to teammates, stakeholders, and leadership.
Metrics & Experimentation
- Define and track success metrics for your products, such as self-service resolution, active use, proficiency, learning engagement, time saved, and satisfaction (CSAT/NPS).
- Design pilots and experiments to de-risk investments, and report results with clear recommendations.
Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Apply Enterprise AI guardrails, access controls, and review processes to your products.
- Partner with Security, Legal, and Compliance to meet privacy and security requirements.
- Monitor usage, spot risks or misuse, and implement mitigations.
Business Outcomes You Will Impact
- ZEOs with deeper AI skill, including more ZEOs who can build agents safely.
- Higher self-service resolution and a better employee experience with Zoe.
- AI products that are secure, governed, and easy to use.
- Clear, consistent AI messaging across the company.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, or a closely related role such as technical program management, business systems analysis, or product operations, ideally for internal or enterprise software.
- Demonstrated ability to take a product or feature from discovery through launch and iteration.
- Working knowledge of LLMs and agentic workflows, and the ability to explain them to non-technical audiences.
- Hands-on daily use of generative AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, or Glean.
- Excellent writing and messaging skills, shown through a portfolio or work samples.
- Experience designing and delivering training or enablement for cross-functional audiences.
- Experience defining product metrics and using data and qualitative feedback to make decisions.
- Strong stakeholder management in a matrixed environment, working with engineering, security, and legal.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Asana, Confluence, Slack, and Google Workspace.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with conversational AI, knowledge management, or employee self-service products.
- Experience building a learning hub, video, or interactive learning content.
- Experience running a champions or community program.
- Experience with AI governance and responsible AI practices.
- Prosci, CSPO, or similar certification.
- Experience in a high-growth SaaS company.
