This is a hybrid role with a requirement for 2-3 days per week on-site at Cisco’s Milpitas office.

MEET THE TEAM

Our team is dedicated to pioneering Identity Aware Networking capabilities, specifically focusing on the critical challenge of Non-Human Identities. We define how modern enterprises securely onboard, identify, segment, and govern network connectivity for Things (IoT/IoMT/OT) and Workloads (servers, containers, and VMs). By sitting at the intersection of Zero Trust, asset intelligence, and secure connectivity, our work ensures that the broader enterprise network remains resilient against evolving threats. We are a highly technical, strategic group that thrives on translating complex security problems into differentiated product capabilities. It is an exciting time to join us as we define the standards for securing the vast ecosystem of connected equipment and compute-based identities.

YOUR IMPACT

As a Senior Staff Product Manager, you will lead the product strategy and execution to secure network connectivity for Non-Human Identities across the enterprise. You will own the end-to-end capabilities for discovering, classifying, and segmenting Things and Workloads to reduce organizational risk and improve compliance. Success in this role means translating customer pain points into a crisp product roadmap and delivering measurable business outcomes through high-quality releases. You will drive alignment across cross-functional teams—including engineering, UX, and security research—to ensure a cohesive customer experience. By connecting identity context to network access policy, you will directly enable a stronger Zero Trust posture for our customers.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of experience across product management or systems engineering in enterprise networking, cybersecurity, identity, cloud infrastructure, workload security, or IoT/OT security.
  • Experience defining product strategy, prioritizing roadmaps, and driving cross-functional execution.
  • Experience working in the area of network security, such as segmentation, access control, NAC, and/or Zero Trust
  • Experience writing detailed product requirements, user stories, and/or acceptance criteria.
  • Experience in identity and context-driven security models for devices, services, and/or workloads.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Specialized experience with Non-Human Identity security, Kubernetes, cloud-native infrastructure, or agent-based security.
  • Proficiency in enterprise micro-segmentation, software-defined networking, or identity-based access control.
  • Knowledge of device profiling, certificate-based identity, posture assessment, and behavioral analytics.
  • Experience collaborating with UX research and design teams using the jobs-to-be-done framework.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence executives, engineering teams, and external customers.
