Overview

We are seeking a Product Manager, Home Networking to support the development and lifecycle management of TP-Link Systems’ next-generation home networking products, including Mesh systems, Routers, Accessories, Extenders, Portable Wi-Fi solutions, Broadband Access Gateways, and related connected networking products. This role will work across the full product development lifecycle, helping define new products, conduct competitive analysis, coordinate cross-functional execution, and support successful product launches from concept through final shipment. The ideal candidate is passionate about connected technology, enjoys solving real customer problems, and thrives in highly collaborative environments where product, engineering, operations, manufacturing, supply chain, and business teams work together to bring innovative networking products to market.

This team currently supports multiple consumer home networking product categories and ecosystems spanning hardware, firmware, mobile applications, and cloud services. As TP-Link Systems continues to expand its Product Management organization, we are actively growing the team with multiple Product Manager hires, with the long-term goal of dedicated ownership aligned to individual product lines. These are newly created positions created to support the continued scaling and expansion of TP-Link Systems’ consumer home networking business.

This role offers the opportunity to directly influence the future of consumer networking technologies, including emerging innovations such as Wi-Fi 8, AI-enabled networking experiences, and next-generation connected home solutions. Product Managers within this organization are empowered to own products end-to-end — from understanding real customer pain points and defining product requirements, through engineering execution, launch planning, go-to-market coordination, and ongoing customer feedback analysis after launch.

At TP-Link Systems, Product Management is not limited to writing PRDs and handing work to engineering teams. Product Managers are expected to actively drive the entire product development lifecycle by collaborating closely with R&D, QA, PMO, manufacturing, supply chain, industrial design, sales, and marketing teams to ensure products successfully reach customers and deliver meaningful user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the definition and development of consumer home networking products across multiple categories, including Mesh systems, Routers, Extenders, Portable Wi-Fi, Accessories, and Broadband Access Gateways
  • Assist in managing products throughout the full product development lifecycle, from concept and planning through launch and final shipment
  • Write and maintain Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and product specifications for hardware, firmware, app, and cloud-related features
  • Conduct competitive analysis, market research, and trend evaluations to identify opportunities for product improvement and differentiation
  • Help identify real consumer pain points and translate customer needs into actionable product solutions
  • Collaborate closely with R&D and QA teams to communicate requirements, evaluate tradeoffs, prioritize features, and support product decision-making
  • Coordinate with PMO, manufacturing, industrial design, supply chain, vendors, and business stakeholders to support successful product execution and delivery
  • Support launch planning, feature validation, readiness coordination, and cross-functional communication activities
  • Analyze customer feedback and market trends to recommend feature enhancements and product optimizations
  • Participate in discussions around emerging technologies, including AI integrations and next-generation wireless networking standards
  • Help drive product quality, usability, security, performance, and customer experience improvements
  • Communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams to help drive projects forward and ensure alignment

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Business, or a related field required
  • 3–4 years of product management experience, preferably within consumer home networking, connected devices, smart home, or related technology industries
  • Experience writing Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and translating business requirements into actionable product specifications
  • Basic understanding of consumer home networking technologies, including routers, extenders, mesh systems, wireless standards, and cloud-connected services
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams
  • Experience conducting competitive analysis and market research within consumer technology or networking markets
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Highly proactive with a willingness to take initiative, contribute ideas, and drive execution independently
  • Passion for emerging consumer networking technologies and product innovation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working on consumer networking, IoT, or connected device products
  • Familiarity with firmware, mobile applications, or cloud-connected product ecosystems
  • Exposure to AI-enabled consumer technologies or next-generation wireless technologies such as Wi-Fi 7 or Wi-Fi 8
  • Experience working in cross-functional product development environments involving hardware and software collaboration
  • Understanding of go-to-market concepts, customer behavior, or consumer product positioning

Benefits

Salary Range

$120,000-$140,000

Benefits

  • Fully paid medical, dental, and vision insurance (partial coverage for dependents)
  • Contributions to 401k funds
  • Over four weeks of PTO per year
  • Bi-annual pay increases
