Sr. Product Manager, CRM Platform | 100% Remote

About the Role

EMPLOYERS is a workers' compensation carrier building digital tools for policyholders, agents, injured workers, and our own teams. As a Senior Product Manager, you'll own the product direction for our CRM platform after go-live. You'll decide what gets built, what waits, and what gets a "no," so the business sees real change in how people work. You'll partner with Sales, Underwriting, Agency Management, Customer Experience, and Risk Advisory.

What You'll Do

  • Own the request queue and backlog. Every request gets an outcome, a success measure, a rough size, and a confidence level before it's sequenced.
  • Say "not yet" or "no" to stakeholders, including senior leaders, and keep the relationship strong.
  • Own the platform through adoption and value realization, not just implementation. Know when to configure standard features and when custom build is worth funding.
  • Learn how a submission becomes a quote, a bind, and a policy. Watch how users actually work and run refinement sessions with the business.
  • Turn what you learn into epics, short job stories, and testable acceptance criteria. Keep the backlog ready two sprints out.
  • Work with the business analysts, developers, QA, experience design, and op ex on the Dynamics team, plus the systems integrator and integration partners.
  • Run the regular business sync. Make decisions and scope trades visible to the business owner.
  • Lead at least one epic from definition through release, so the business can see what changed in their workday.
  • Coordinate UAT, release planning, and training materials.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years in digital product management for products used by internal and external customers
  • 5+ years in Agile/Scrum (two-week sprints, quarterly planning)
  • Post-go-live ownership of an enterprise platform such as Dynamics 365, Salesforce, or a policy admin system
  • Proven ownership of priorities and outcomes. This is not a project management or business analyst role.
  • A track record of prioritizing by value, confidence, and effort, and sending back requests that lack a problem or a measure
  • Ability to explain a prioritization trade-off, a miss, and what you'd do differently, with real metrics
  • Clear communication with VPs and developers alike
  • Working knowledge of Jira, Lucid, and MS Office
  • Bachelor's degree in business, design, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience

Preferred

  • Insurance or B2B sales and underwriting workflow experience (workers' comp helpful, not required)
  • Scrum Master or Product Owner certification

Work Environment

  • Remote: This role is 100% remote, open to candidates currently located in the United States who are able to work without sponsorship.
  • Requires a private, quiet workspace suitable for focused work and video collaboration.
  • Hours: Schedules are set to accommodate the needs of the role and organization, and may be adjusted as needed.
  • Travel: Occasional travel to off-site locations for meetings may be required.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $140,000 with a comprehensive benefits package. Details: EMPLOYERS Benefits and Perks
