About the Role
Artisight’s smart room platform is live in operating rooms across a growing set of health systems, and our OR business is growing faster than our ability to deliver it repeatably. No one owns the OR as a product today. We’re seeking a Senior Product Manager, Operating Room Solutions to build that from the ground up: taking everything Artisight does and packaging it into a coherent, repeatable OR offering that our commercial team can sell, deploy, and expand. In this role, you’ll work on the ground alongside our clinical OR lead, earn the trust of OR directors, surgeons, and nursing staff, and translate what you learn into a product line with clear ROI and a roadmap that reflects what actually happens in the room.
This role is remote, based in the U.S., and requires U.S. work authorization. Travel up to 50% is expected.
What You’ll Do
- Own site delivery for OR accounts: lead discovery, define go-live criteria, and hold the team to it
- Build and maintain the OR product offering: what’s in the package, what phases in later, and what we say no to
- Convert field observation and client requests into written, evidenced, ranked requirements and drive them into the roadmap through engineering product managers
- Develop the assets that make each site faster than the last: discovery scripts, workflow documentation, camera layout patterns, validation protocols, and sales enablement material
- Partner with Sales and Solution Engineering on OR opportunities, pilot scoping, and what a site needs in place before we commit
- Advocate for OR-specific features on the product roadmap, reporting to and partnering with engineering PM leadership to prioritize what gets built and when
- Represent the OR persona across the main application roadmap, ensuring the offering holds together regardless of site of care
What You Have
- Deep, hands-on operating room experience; you can hold your own with an OR director, a charge nurse, and a surgeon in the same conversation
- 5+ years in product management, solutions, or a client-facing product role with a track record of being the person in the room with the customer
- Experience taking a technology capability to market in a clinical setting: packaging it, proving it, and getting it adopted
- Strong written communication skills; requirements, specs, discovery findings, and enablement material are core outputs of this role
- Comfort with data: able to look at case event data, spot what doesn’t make sense, and reason about why
- Comfort being the person in the room who earns trust quickly; OR staff are experienced with vendors competing for their time and attention
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%; much of this job does not happen over video
Bonus Points For
- Clinical background in a perioperative role (RN, surgical technologist, CST)
- Experience with perioperative systems: EHR surgical modules, scheduling and case management, anesthesia information systems, or OR analytics platforms
- Familiarity with HL7 and how surgical case data moves between systems
- Prior work at a health technology vendor deploying into live clinical environments
- Experience standing up a new product line or market segment
Why You’ll Enjoy This Role
- Impact: Every new OR site today is carried by a small number of people improvising. Your work turns that into a playbook, making each deployment faster and more predictable than the last
- Growth: You’ll develop deep expertise across perioperative operations, clinical AI deployment, and product strategy in one of healthcare’s most complex and high-stakes environments
- Team: You’ll work alongside our clinical OR lead and partner closely with engineering, sales, clinical services, and perioperative leadership at health system clients
Interview Process (all calls conducted via video)
- Recruiter Interview - 30 minutes
- Hiring Manager Interview - 30 to 45 minutes
- Cross-Team Interview - 30 minutes
- Case Study - 60 minutes
