Job Description
At Motorola Solutions, we are guided by a shared purpose: helping people be their best in the moments that matter. We believe that everything starts with our people, and we empower each Motorolan to bring their authentic self to innovate what's next.
We are seeking a results-driven Project Manager to oversee high-touch, multi-year enterprise platform deployments and complex multi-vendor integrations. In this role, you will serve as the operational anchor guiding accounts from proof-of-concept (POC) phases through full go-live stabilization and long-term sustainment contracts.
You will work closely with Sales Engineering, Professional Services, Product, and Development teams to manage complex technical workstreams involving APIs, mapping and spatial data, and IoT hardware. As an operational lead, you will govern project scope, develop Level of Effort (LOE) estimates, oversee resource allocation, and facilitate high-touch engagements with client executives and vendor partners. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is valued.
Responsibilities:
Phased Deployment & Operational Execution
- Lead multi-year enterprise technology deployments through distinct operational lifecycle phases, from initial go-live stabilization and punch-list resolution to multi-site expansions
- Facilitate recurring remote and onsite synchronization touchpoints with client executives, vendor partners, and cross-functional project teams
- Provide dedicated project management oversight and operational support during high-profile client validation events and go-live windows
Resource Allocation & Financial Governance
- Develop detailed Level of Effort (LOE) estimates, labor-hour models, and travel budgets to maintain project financial health and profitability
- Analyze resource utilization metrics and assign technical workstreams to maintain optimal balance across supporting technical staff
- Manage scope governance by evaluating project boundaries, mitigating scope creep, and formalizing change orders when requirements expand
Technical Integration & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with Sales Engineering, Professional Services, and Product Development teams to coordinate multi-vendor technical integrations
- Oversee technical workstreams involving API integrations, spatial and mapping data, IoT hardware onboarding, and third-party software platforms
- Systematically delegate routine technical, administrative, and operational tasks to supporting technical resources to optimize delivery efficiency
Requirements:
Technical Expertise
- Technical Integration & APIs to oversee workflows involving software release lifecycles, API connections, spatial or device onboarding, and system testing
- Financial & LOE Modeling to build Level of Effort models, calculate labor-hour requirements, analyze utilization metrics, and manage travel budgets
- Scope & Change Control to establish operational boundaries, evaluate technical risks, and generate formal change orders
- English Language Fluency to communicate technical details and complex project requirements across all stakeholders
Professional Experience
- Multi-Site Enterprise Deployments to lead complex, multi-year technology rollouts and transition accounts from POC to long-term sustainment
- Executive Stakeholder Communication to conduct executive reviews, lead cross-functional technical teams, and coordinate multi-vendor partners
- Resource Delegation to assign tasks effectively across technical workstreams while maintaining governance over deliverables
Target Base Salary Range: $120,000 - $130,000
