  • trusted commercial partner for an assigned portfolio of Design Hotels™ member
  • hotels in the Americas, and as a key link between Member Hotels, Design Hotels™,
  • Marriott International, and the Global Account Management team.
  • The role is responsible for managing and developing member relationships,
  • supporting the long-term success of the portfolio, and identifying commercial
  • opportunities across assigned accounts. Through strategic consultation,
  • relationship management, and representation of the Design Hotels™ brand, the AMA
  • works closely with member hotels to address their individual business needs
  • while ensuring alignment with Design Hotels™ and Marriott systems, standards,
  • services, and initiatives.

Tasks & Responsibilties

  • Strategic Account & Relationship Management
  • Manage an assigned portfolio of member hotels, acting as the main point of
  • contact and building strong, long-term relationships with relevant hotel
  • stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic consultation and ongoing account management based on

individual member needs, business priorities, and opportunities.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to strengthen member hotel performance,
  • engagement, and satisfaction, including through relevant Design Hotels™
  • programs and services.
  • Represent the Design Hotels™ brand, values, and commercial objectives across

assigned accounts.

  • Support contract renewals, amendments, and negotiations for assigned member

hotels.

Revenue Growth & Commercial Strategy

  • Review and analyze hotel performance and relevant commercial information,
  • translating insights into recommendations to drive revenue growth and improve
  • commercial performance.
  • Prepare data-driven performance updates, business reviews, and commercial

recommendations for member hotels.

  • Identify and pursue opportunities for additional Design Hotels™ products and

services.

  • Support forecasting and planning activities for assigned member hotels.
  • Monitor relevant market developments, trends, competition, and changing

business conditions.

Marriott Integration & Operations Support

  • Work with member hotels and relevant internal and Marriott stakeholders to

address operational, system, and integration-related needs.

  • Act as a communication bridge between member hotels and Marriott

stakeholders, supporting relevant Design Hotels™/Marriott initiatives.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with regional and global Design Hotels™ teams, Marriott
  • stakeholders, and internal subject-matter experts to address member hotel and
  • business needs.
  • Coordinate the delivery of Design Hotels™ products, services, and initiatives

across assigned accounts.

  • Self-directed, with a collaborative approach to working across teams.
  • Contribute to regional and departmental projects, priorities, and initiatives

as required.

  • Internal
  • Director of Account Management and Brand Portfolio, The Americas.
  • Senior Director, The Americas.
  • Design Hotels™ regional and global teams.
  • Marriott International regional and global stakeholders.

External

  • Hotel owners, asset managers, General Managers, senior leadership, and

relevant hotel teams.

  • External partners and other relevant industry stakeholders.

Experience & Mindset

  • Experience
  • 3–5 years of experience in hospitality, preferably in account management,

sales, commercial operations, revenue management, or business development.

  • Experience managing clients, accounts, and/or commercial stakeholder

relationships.

  • Good understanding of hotel commercial operations, distribution, and

revenue-management principles.

  • Experience with branded hotel systems or Marriott International is an

advantage.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a

related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.

Skills

  • Relationship-management and customer-service skills.
  • Self-directed, with a collaborative approach to working across teams.
  • Effective presentation and stakeholder communication, including interpreting

data and translating insights clearly.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience

developing professional presentations in PowerPoint/Keynote.

  • Comfortable learning and navigating new systems and platforms.
  • Willingness to travel within the Americas as required.
  • Fluency in English required; proficiency in Spanish preferred. Additional

languages are an advantage.
